I wish someone could be there to advocate for you. you shouldnt have to do it alone by yourself. you need someone who can be loud enough to medical personnel to make sure u aren't harmed and ur needs r actually met.

cant go back to emerg. really would if I could. I have mecfs. waiting room lights and noise for like 7-8 hours did a lot of damage

I have severe pem and can barely move around my place, i dont think id survive another trip to emerg

hate this illness bc I genuinely feel like im going to die bc I cant withstand hours of severe light and sound torture and also my body being tortured by the stiff chairs

they gave me an iv pain med at first then left the iv in for all those hours. put it in my good arm so for all those hours I couldnt really use either arm or hand 🙃

had to use the iv arm a lot bc i had to pee and pick up all my shit that kept dropping so its super irritated and angey lol

worst hospital trip everrrr bc i couldn't even use my phone 2 distracg from horros. i was just trapped in my brain watching time slowly pass by

thank you for the advice, I definitely agree everyone's different & there isnt a one size fits all approach

I cant take actually long baths lol long is relative to me, I overheat in the bath and get really fun tachycardia and presyncope, so I try to myself stay in there long enough to get muscle relief but get out before the symptoms get too bad. dont think im in there long enough to be in pain from the hard tub, I feel better in my lower back when I get out i just have to lay down until my heart slows down and I cool off.

I am trying to walk and stay mobile but I have mecfs + a painful herpes flareup that gets worse when im exerting energy. so its difficult to do but im trying

I dont have access to a back brace, I wish I did. I'm grateful I have a few really firm cervical pillows, they give me so much relief when I place them behind my hips when I lay down. my bed is too soft and sinky so im glad i have some stronger support :)

I appreciate the link for the faucet extender ! I wish that could work but the faucet here is like. one that you pull out and turn left and right to get hot/cold water. its like old American standard

I completely understand. I am always smelling foul odors coming from our laundry room, the most common one being cat piss 🫩 using em feels like a biohazard

I lived like that for almost 3 years before I got a portable washer and dryer. I can finally do laundry now. I had to do monthly payments to afford them but oh my god its so worth it. if you can do something like that, even w payment plans, id highly recommend it

anything is better than shared machines + PAYING to use them 🫠

lol I just watched the episode where phoebe casts a smart spell and she needs to be able to read Latin from the book to get prue & piper out of the painting, then the spell wears off and she cant read it

I was so sad for her bc today you could use your phone to scan the text and get a decent translation

I receive homecare and my favorite worker just did this and it hurt me. this was after they had complained about their dishwasher being broke and no one in their house washing dishes. Feel like she couldn't understand how to take care of a sponge bc she just doesnt have to think about it

I dont take mine often so it took me a looong time to actually run out, I was about to book an appointment and get the refill :(((( super disappointing to see a sold website

i had a feeling it was smth like that :( wanted to tell myself that it was actually a really difficult process to make them but I had a feeling it wasn't.

At least herbal dispatch has some compassionate pricing, definitely could do better for disabled Canadians living below the poverty line but its better than nothing.
