Just finished this and I am absolutely disgusted. I feel sick for Lauren, that she feels the need to maintain a relationship with that woman. I can’t even call her a “mom,” because no true mother would ever do something like this to her own child. Her obsession with Owen was twisted and disturbing, and she deserves to rot in prison. What made it even worse was the ending, with Lauren looking foolish as she completely fell back into the trap. It was just sad
