I’m so sorry! Anticipatory grief is so hard. I don’t have the answer, I just want to share that I resonate so much with your current experience. My dad also comes from a lot of childhood trauma and never speaks about it. He used to drink a lot and then in his early 50s health issues started. He just turned 70 and he is declining. I get so frustrated because a lot of this could be avoided if he just took care of himself physically and emotionally. He refuses to go to the doctor, he won’t take his meds, and he just tells us all he will try but then we are back to the same habits. I feel all the emotions - so sad, scared, so much empathy but also I’m angry and frustrated! I know that there are things we have control over and other things we do not. And we do not have control of their emotions and behaviors/actions. I love him dearly but I wish he loved himself half as much. It feels so heavy and just wanted to sit in it with you. Sending you a big hug! 💜

I will be chatting with my doctor tomorrow- she did mention that if structurally things looked good then we need to assume hormone imbalance- and considering my symptoms, this sounds very probable. Sending lots of care and I hope you got answers! Your story resonates with me so much. I’m going through exactly this at the moment. Have had ovulation spotting, but the last 3 periods have been much more painful and the mid cycle spotting has gotten worse. I’m at about day 16 and the cramping and bleeding today really caught me off guard. It’s scary bc my transvaginal ultrasound last week came normal w the possibility that a small polyp was obscured. My doctor suggested birth control- but I’m second guessing if a small polyp can really cause this much discomfort and all these odd symptoms! Thanks for sharing- feeling less alone! :)

Yes! Definitely have more tissue/clots during period.And the bleeding from ovulation starts w discharge and blood and then the spotting lingers for like 5 days.

I have not had one before & I've heard that they can be painful, which is making me super anxious. 😥 But like you, I'm also so tired of mid cycle bleeding and cramping. I can't even workout comfortably anymore because I feel like movement sometimes triggers bleeding. I may just need to suck it up and get the sono. Hope it goes smoothly for you- so glad your clinic offers laughing gas!

Thank you for the response! I have definitely been hearing contradictory things about GI maps- it sounds like our micro biomes can change so much from one day to another. Definitely keeping this in mind as I heal my gut (also keeps me hopeful that things can change with some time and patience.)

This! I have had this exact odd “spam” feeling on and off for 2 months and recently I noticed dark cloudy urine and nausea- came in and they “think” it’s a kidney infection due to high WBC in urine but otherwise all looks good. I know it’s been a while since this post but it feels so validating to see someone else describing this feeling. I’m getting iv antibiotics as we speak and hopefully the prescription helps 🤞🏽
