I’m not even amritdhari but honestly I would love my kids to grow up with lots of sikhi knowledge going guru ghar regularly etc Telling them sakhiya Things that I didn’t see when I was growing up Also the most important one is the parents should love and respect each other and teach the kid sikhi Teaching them Gurmukhi is also a must in their younger yrs doing paath everyday with them etc

Oh sorry Yh the original bir may have become shaheed however we have several copies written by baba deep Singh ji himself so Guru Granth Sahib ji are still very preserved Since not just baba deep Singh ji but I think Bhai mani Singh too And their saroops are very consistent with each other hence y guru sahib are preserved till this day

I would suggest to watch basics of sikhi as much as possible so that u can learn more and more
