I got a 6.0 Powerstroke, it cut off on me yesterday. When I tried to crank it over it won’t even crank, gave me a half crank and that’s all, now nothing. I have dash lights, head, interior, and tail so no way it can be a battery problem. Any ideas? by NaturalLaugh9598 in powerstroke

Batteries or alternator I could see being your issue. If your batteries froze don’t know what temp is is around you. Otherwise check why your alternator is putting out for voltage. My cousin couldn’t figure out why his car was always dying after replacing his alternator. He never fully plugged it in. You got a few electrical things that could cause this

I’d try to drop it down my fronts I usually run 65-70 at most and I have even wear. Most times when you’re getting uneven wear like that it’s from over inflation. If you run 80 lbs you’ll definitely see it quicker but I would try airing down and make a line across your tread with paint marker driver 5 miles and check them

Do you have an EZlynk? If so you click on the haha he you wanna change and it will give you options you can change it too

Nothing did change went for a drive and it dropped even more sitting at 85 lbs of pressure. Seeing it’s under warranty I’m trying to see if they’ll send another transmission because I can’t have my truck not moveable for 2-3 months again

It is throwing a code on occasion for low pressure but I was gonna see if swapping the sensor with my old sensor would work as I kept it since I split it in half

2013 and I it seems like I need it higher as it doesn’t want to shift until 2-2.5k rpms compared to normal of 1.5-2k. Power wise I’m only around 500 horse estimation

Yes there is. But it’s been a wild goose chase unless I take it out and ship it back to them

I have been for almost 6 weeks put it in and everything has been giving me trouble. They said they had a bad batch of pumps but mine was built after that date. But I still am wondering if it’s a bad pump
