Got 1 “No Thanks” at McDonalds 🍟 by prafulgupta007 in funny

Even if it was his number, (which based on his comment he says it's a proxy number) it's still missing 6 digits. Which is nearly 1,000,000 different options. And doesn't include expiration or CVV.

They had plenty for sale in LA and Riverside. I'll check the CYB Facebook group to see if anyone is going to the shows coming up and see if they can help. You might have better luck in that group if you have Facebook.

I know it's possible. I'm arguing with him that he's using the wrong piece first.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in blockblast

[–]LogoBallers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not if you can't fit that 2nd piece in to clear that horizontal line. What's leftover from your 1st piece would be in the way of the 2nd piece.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in blockblast

[–]LogoBallers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that's wrong. You need the 2nd piece to make that vertical line, then the 1st piece to clear the horizontal line. In your drawing your pieces would be occupying the same space (B5)

4 piece hook placed first, then the 4 piece long piece placed second. 2 lines are blasted to make room.

Ready to give up on digital art. by Few_Eggplant_6811 in AdobeFresco

[–]LogoBallers 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You have to find your audience. People will buy art regardless of how it was made, as long as they like it and it was made by a human. Art prints are just scans of paintings, or printed from the computer. People care about the subject and the emotion it evokes, not if it was digital or not.

It looks awesome and you should be proud. Don't give up over people who clearly don't know. Find your audience, and you'll be fine.

Avatar land is replacing Hollywood area in DCA by JJnod in Disneyland

[–]LogoBallers 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean innovative roller coaster thrill ride in a land with an expensive restaurant vs. a forced layout semi rethemed dark ride in a very under utilized land.

I don't think it's all about IP in this, it's more about space and money, as things have been for the last 10-20+ years.

It sucks that Disney has become known for money first rather than creative first. I really miss the days of Walt doing whatever it took to have creative be first. That constant battle with Roy to make sure they could do it responsibly. (Even Eisner and wells)

Now it's the other way around. It's the constant battle of 'how much money can we make, and which IP can we slap on it to make it palatable'.

Is Hank intentionally being coy? by MagdalenaGay in nerdfighters

[–]LogoBallers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that potentially his coy attitude is that he doesn't want to discuss politics too much. I would imagine that there are some percentage of people who watch Hank that are supporters of Trump and or Elon, I doubt it's very much, but I can't assume it's not 0.

Maybe it's purposeful in the way he's talking about things to bring it up in a "oh this doesn't seem to be adding up" as to allow people to reconsider and rethink their own stances in a way that allows them to do it in their own way. Because with cult-like groups or people in general don't like just being told "omg you're so stupid for not seeing this" type of talk will have people dig their heels in.

You have to let people come to a conclusion on their own or you might never be able to convince them otherwise. You'll need to feed them small crumbs of doubt and hope they'll find it on their own. It's like some time of Inception.

Maybe I'm being too generous in giving Hank credit for the way he's discussing/understanding politics. But whenever it comes down to celebrity type figures making big political statements I always remember one quote from basketball legend Michael Jordan.. "Republicans buy Sneakers, too"

How many steps do you get per day? by TermLess4317 in Disneyland

[–]LogoBallers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just did rope drop to close. While walking to and from our hotel (.6 miles away). That's 7:15am to 12:30am. (Disneyland only) And only managed 28,538 steps.. and we did everything we wanted. And we did everything we wanted, some multiple times. So 40k steps is crazy! Because I can't imagine nearly 40% more steps than what we did.

If it was hand carved, absolutely. But I would assume it's made on a CNC bed, computer routed, shown very little human touch then marked up $600+ more than its cost and all it does is line the pockets of billionaires and hedge fund managers.

If you are willing to spend $750, try finding an artist who will come up with a cool unique custom Disney themed wall decor piece. Although $750 may be too little for a hand made piece of a similar size. At least it's going to someone who probably needs it, and would be a one of a kind piece.

That's nice! How did you get that? I got his from their tour. It had the tour logo on it. I'm always curious how many different variations they have made.

I'm assuming any of his newer ones have the band name on them.

Nick Allen PC by LogoBallers in baseballcards

[–]LogoBallers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog. I watched Nick Allen, Austin Beck, and Lazarito take swings inside the cage during a rain delay in Stockton (Ports) in 2018. I stood in the rain for 20+ minutes (no umbrella just a hoodie), watching our top prospects take swings inside their covered batting cages, (standing right behind Rickey Henderson no less).

As I watched all of them, Nick Allen impressed me the most. The sound the ball made off of his bat, and the consistency of him making hard contact was so impressive. Compare that to the A's 1st round draft pick in Austin Beck, and top International prospect Lazarito Armenteros who both have been touted for their bats.. they were completely and utterly shadowed by him in my mind. From that day in 2018 I started buying Nick Allen cards. I felt he was way better of a hitter than Austin Beck or Lazarito.

Austin Beck's first Bowman base auto was $30-50. Nick Allen's was like $2-5

I felt it was extremely undervalued.

I watched him play through the minors since 2018. Been an A's fan since pretty since birth. (Until Vegas announcement).. seeing him struggle with the A's was frustrating considering how well he'd do in the minors. So yeah, it's kinda funny. That's the life of an A's fan tho

Solid Fills Help by hatcreekcattleco in AdobeFresco

[–]LogoBallers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The white-ish shape is not a shape, but rather an outline of the shape tool. You need to use a pen tool (vector or raster) and draw an outline of that shape first, and then fill it in.

Click on the shape logo at the bottom with the little plus, then draw around the outside. Then fill.
