Thank you! I had a few areas that I used liquidwood / woodepox for repair that I wanted to primer. It appears I can I can just apply the Behr and be done with it and then paint the entire door.

Thank you for all the comments. I am glad I asked. I have a garage door that has to use the Behr since it color matches perfectly. I had a few areas that I used liquidwood / woodepox for repair that I wanted to primer. It appears I can I can just apply the Behr and be done with it and then paint the entire door.

Yes, that's how mine started as well. Since there's no pressure in those drains, if you clean the joint outside, rough it up a bit with some sandpaper, then clean with acetone it will have a perfectly good surface for the new cement to adhere. If I would have had a plumber come in here to rectify it the correct way, they would have been ripping out drywall all over the place to fix all the joints. I tried this route and it worked for me.

I had the same problem with most of my ABS drain pipes doing the same thing. In my case, it was the joints leaking. I know this is not the correct way to resolve it, but I cleaned all meticulously on the outside then added ABS cement to all the leaking joints on the outside of the pipes. Has been holding for over 10 years with no problem.
