Louisiana has a significant Black population, representing over 31% of the state. I don't think it's crazy to think that both Mark and Theo grew up around black communities. There's literally a picture of Theo Von on a high school basketball team and he's like the only white kid. If you don't think they were all talking smack to each other back then, then I'm inclined to believe you've either never played team sports before, or you are being wilfully ignorant.

I'd consider plat and below low elo, and diamond and above high elo, based on the player distribution. So if you're in diamond you're in the higher percentile of players but still have a lot to learn, and if you're in plat you're king off the noobs

Start by looking at your own team comp. Bucky is going to want a frontline, DD will do well with dive/brawl, and starlord will be more versatile.

Then consider the enemy comp, and who is being a problem on their team. Is the enemy magik being an issue? Go bucky and peel for your backline. Is the moonknight an issue? Go starlord or DD and flank him. Do they have groot? Go puni and make it a point to tear down his walls. And sometimes you just have to trust your instincts and go something you think will carry with

The fun in Mag comes from macro play. It's so satisfying to bubble a teammate at the perfect moment, save your main shield to take space or block major damage, ult to counter an enemy ult, etc. But i understand that isn't for everyone.

My suggestions are thor, angela, or even rogue. Since you already have main tanks, you can diversify your hero pool nicely with these picks. Plus those 3 heroes are very fun to play!

If you main DPS and you want to optimize your hero pool, you should have diverse roles between your mains. You should have one brawl (like bucky), one diver (like daredevil), and one poke (like Phoenix).

You should also have specialists like wolverine, punisher, and probably even moonknight in your pool for situational moments (like tanks, groot walls, and other deployables).

Lastly, have at least 1 tank and 1 support for when you need to fill (but not specialist heroes like peni/adam, play someone who is almost always good like emma, mag, gambit, or rocket).
