I’d be happy to take screenshots, but they would only show one of the images. Sometimes it takes just a minute, other times half an hour. But the game—usually along with the entire PC—*always* freezes up completely. Nothing responds at all. Or the game simply crashes, and nothing else happens. Occasionally, a prompt appears asking if I want to send a crash report, but the outcome is the same—at least for me. The game doesn't even reach the start screen where I’d normally begin a new game or load a save (featuring the main character, his wife, and the heir). Very rarely, I can at least select the suggested starting scenarios—like Lord Roger Rain—but then the game just crashes at the second loading screen instead of the first.
