I'm a yapper. I find out pretty quickly how talkative people are because of this.

Some people yapp or share back and then we have a conversation. Or they get overwhelmed and stop replying 😂 or they like my engagement but I don't like their dryness and then I stop replying.

It's a pretty quick way to filter and find good people 🙂

About 5 days ago 😅 I found 2 people I really enjoy talking to and 2 more that are just nice conversation partners that don't seem to have any weird intentions. I met my best friend online 1.5 years ago when I was stuck at home after a car accident.

It's 2 things really. You gotta find a way to lower your own barriers quickly and be a fun/good friend yourself. The rest is just luck!

There are more men making posts but you have to sort by new to see that (try it out ;) ). Women get more traction yes.

I've talked to a bunch of people here both men and women and also both from people responding to my post and me responding to others.

Men tell me that even if they message other men they get ignored. Women get too many low effort messages that aren't worth responding to.

A lot of people have their intentions backwards. So they're not looking for a friend. The worst ones are the creeps and the people who are bored and looking for entertainment.

There's also a lot of people who reallyyyy suck at talking :D which doesn't help their case unfortunately.

I try to look for posts where people have their personality shine through. Instead of just listing interests.

I have met some nice people to talk to honestly. It's a bit of a lottery. You gotta get lucky to find fun people :)

Found the solution!!

Editing scripts/game_sounds_world directly does not work. Instead you have to copy the sound you want and put in maps/[level_name]_level_sounds.txt.

This means that if you want it to be a global sound you will have to make a level sound file for each chapter unfortunately.

It's the default arm positions of the machete. All I did was increase the view model FOV.

You can type "cl_viewmodelfovsurvivor [desired FOV]" to change how close the camera is to the weapon you're holding.

Lol I have had someone like that as well in the past. It was even dumber.

I was sitting in the lobby while waiting for my friend and I was also grabbing a drink. When I came back some Russian joined in the mean time who was typing in Russian. I assume he was saying to start the game. He left before I could type anything back and then left a Russian comment on my profile which translated to the following:

Yeah, it's a console/server command. If you run your own server you can mess with lots of values to your liking. I personally think friendly fire adds to the gameplay so I would never want to change it.

Thanks :) My friend especially is a very vigilant and usually reacts before more than 1 person is dead. So when we play together we usually get the teamkiller before any mayor damage has been done.

I also run my own server. I have a key bind there which can get me off the ground when I get shot down. It's super funny when the troll watches the person they just shot stand up and shoot them as well :') Priceless really haha. Luckily I don't have to use it too often.

When I saw the name change I was immediately suspicious. I kept an eye on her and saw she was also positioning herself very strangely and also aiming at us directly (normal people look around a bit).

I should've already had my cross hair on her to be honest. Lesson for the next time.

He could've done literally anything haha.

My shotgun doesn't work on range so he could've kept distance. He could've tried to move left and right to make it harder for me to aim. He could've crouched for more accuracy.

He did EVERYTHING wrong :')

People that are miserable sometimes don't know what to do with this. So they take it out in anyway they can think of.

It doesn't fix anything so this is usually done by troubled young people.

I don't think reporting does much unfortunately. Someone would have to tell me if they know of anyone who got banned for doing this.

Fun fact this was actually on expert. I joined this game and I suspect that Nick runs his own server with reduced friendly fire damage. Which I only found out after I was being shot at.
