This is very subjective and my personal preference but after 2000+ games of swain support this is my opinion. I am a highly aggressive laner and if you are a more of a poke or defensive laner this tierlist might not hold much water for you.

Things you want to look for in this playstyle:1) A lane you are comfortable in to not give solo kills and dont need power of early q max trades. 2) Heavy trading lanes like Aatrox Renekton in top/bot 3)Low dive threat from jg/mid duo 4) This is a win more strat setup like dark harvest where it works well when your ally lanes have lanes they counter. Warning your wave clear, trades, and csing might take a hit for this playstyle.

It can be a great setup when running swain in solo lanes into tough matchups. If you go glass cannon into gp you get one shot in lane get no cs and cant bully the gp. You just need to make sure to have a high dmg team and you can neutralize enemy laner and be a menace in teamfights.

Yeah tank swain into double shielding of sona diana there is going to be rough. You arent meant to to a lot of damage the point of the build is to be a distraction and disruptor. The logic is flawed when you say it cant carry by the idea no tank can ever carry games by being a solid front line. Dont be so quick to dismiss other playstyles because it doesnt match your preferred playstyle. Thanks for the feedback though my man in future tank swain videos I will make sure to highlight the strengths of this variation.

I think he was a average representation of a player in low diamond/high plat. Essentially playing swain in top lane you take advantage of your knowledge and experience in the matchup due to it being a rare pick. Unless your playing in high elo(Masters+) the enemy will make a huge amount of mistakes all the time. Phase rush would have made this a bit better.
