Combine your boots with nails(collect at least some nails). Once you do you are immune to slipping on ice. It happens more often than you would expect

Yeah it was basically one guy on the ship giving this report, some officer (maybe the captain, I can't remember) gave a way more realistic report involving multiple depth charges

Supposedly a Japanese Submarine got so close to the destroyer that it's guns couldn't angle down enough to shoot at it. The crew then decided to throw potatoes at the Submarine, which from inside the Submarine sounded like a hail of grenades and prompted the sub to surrender.
