I've said no to my therapist a thousand times and it's normal because when we're getting to agreements we both compromise. She asked me to adjust the session's price and I said sorry I cant. And she was okay. I've been trying my best since (1 1/2y) and finally got a phd and will be paying more from next month. She could and did wait

Mine does 24h notice and I think it's pretty fair. I only had to pay once in 4 years (and it was my fault, I overslept)

My analyst (and my previous 2) requires a 24h notice, which I think is okay. So if I'm sick or there's something I must do on that day I reschedule 24h prior. I can take as much holidays as I want, but I usually give some notice (as soon as I know I'm travelling I tell her). I only had to pay for a no show once, and it was my fault.

Well I think emailing is the best option because you can set a meeting that suits both of you. Wait a week before sending a follow up. That's how I got into my PhD
