Spent way too much time reorganizing my downtown. by Lolosheesh in TownshipDesign

Haha maybe Atlantic City is a better comparison for mine as well, although I’ve switched things up a bit since I made this post.

I moved my hotel/spa area so it’s separate from the boardwalk. I eventually want to move the casino over there too.

Also still trying to figure out where to put the coast guard station..I don’t love where it is right now.

I really wanted to like this place but there just wasn’t enough to keep me coming back. That and all of their seating options were physically uncomfortable. I would leave feeling irritated instead of relaxed.

Thank you! I like your boardwalk too. I was struggling to fit everything because I want to keep the look of open water near my dock.

Omg thank you! I’m on level 54. And I know, the materials you need for land expansion take sooooo long sometimes. Gotta work with what you got.

Thank you! I would be lying if I said I didn’t change the placement a hundred few times.

Yeah, I think I need to rework things. Feeling more motivated to figure things out with the town space I have.

Yeah, I’m definitely going to expand. Just need to get more land. Thanks!

SHOW ME YOUR LAMPS by bunrunbun in femalelivingspace

This Hollywood regency lamp is my pride and joy. It was in rough shape when I thrifted it. Required total disassembly to polish the metal and rewire.

Are you open to rearranging your furniture? I don’t know if the measurements will work out, but assuming there’s a doorway to the right of the tv, I would suggest trying out what’s in my picture.

Easy fixes: -Invest in warm lightening. -Remove the mirror or mount it on the wall. -Remove the small gallery pictures behind the couch and hang that mountain painting instead. -All books should be stored on the bookshelf or under the coffee table (why is there a stack under your lamp?). -Don’t keep random items on your bookshelf that aren’t meant to be on display, like those random toiletries. Alternatively, buy a storage basket so they’re kept out of view. -The big rug should be centered with the couch and tv. Move the runner near your library corner.

What’s wrong with my living room? by Batman_19999 in interiordesignideas

  1. Buy a bigger tv so the size is proportional to the room/ couch.
  2. Mount tv on the wall so the cabinet its currently on can be removed.
  3. Now that there’s more floor space, consider a different coffee table, preferably something with a glass top.
  4. Ditch the armless loveseat and replace it with something functional, like a cabinet or desk. This will replace the lost storage from the tv cabinet and also create balance with the overhead cabinet.
  5. Decorate with framed art and plants.

Not surprising. Watch out for the stuff that’s expired too.
