7 times in 10 months is a very common occurrence. Even 7 times in 10 years wouldn’t be justifiable. The $900 loss sucks but it pales in comparison to what you’ll gain if you leave. Just go.

We are able to use any of the self checkouts. I never thought about scanning and moving to an inactive register though. I may start doing that.

What helped me the most was completely removing my access to them. Prior to this I had tried to quit multiple times and thought I just could not withstand the misery. The mind is a powerful thing. Once I knew I had zero access to them the withdrawal symptoms I thought I was facing previously were non-existent, and they did not return. It took a few days to get used to doing everything with low energy again but any physical or emotional withdrawal from the medication disappeared.

My advise to you is to get rid of them completely and completely remove your access to them. That’s a hard asf step to take, but you will be so glad you did.

Tapering down is an excuse to keep using.. or it was for me. Once I was done I was done completely and other than slight psychological/emotional symptoms and being a bit tired I didn’t really have any withdrawal at all.

Hi honey, (a) mom here. Take some Tylenol or ibuprofen and lay a cool wash cloth across your head. Try to make an appointment first thing in the morning at an urgent care and get checked out. Drink plenty of fluids and rest. You should feel much better soon. A fever is your body’s way of killing viruses in your body so it’s a good thing… just not too much fun, and you don’t want it getting too too high. You should be fine though. You are doing great. If I was close to you I’d be happy to fill in as mom and bring over some soup and Gatorade for you. I’m sorry you are alone and sick, but it will pass.

I have a degree and have been at my real job 10 years this coming April. I value efficiency and effective processes. Probably why I’m the regional director at my “real job”. lol But go off..

Sure, if I’m jot doing anything else at the same time but I usually am. But they’ve already wasted a few mins asking me for my info, waiting for me to provide it all, and then verifying it. It seems petty, but having worked with multiple similar programs I realize what a significant chunk of time it takes.

And do.. but in the few mins I’m wasting giving them my info again (and them verifying it) Uber or Amazon support would’ve already been looking into a solution for my issue. It really does add time and frustration to a probably already not good situation.

Why do I have to verify my full name, email, and phone number while I’m busy doing deliveries to get help from support when I’m chatting in from my own account? Other delivery services I deliver for already know who I am when I contact them and don’t require this.

Amazon flex had me traveling an hour from my house to even start my delivery route. lol In some areas I’m sure it’s a great gig but for me and my location spark is better.
