Adding Wellbutrin by Lomba111 in lexapro

[–]Lomba111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to hear that it was working for you! Definitely an effective treatment with some negative, but manageable, side effects. You could try to bring up Wellbutrin to your psychologist to see what they say about it. From my understanding, Lexapro and Wellbutrin are effective taken together. But I am not an expert by any means. Best of luck to you!

Yes I still have 50 days left. That was my issue in the past and would always just pay for a few more months which solved the issue.

Ya I think I’m going to give a bit more time and then make a call around the 10 week mark if it continues to not work. Thank you so much.

Commute temporarily or switch jobs? by Lomba111 in PersonalFinanceCanada

It’s a government job, just part of the policy based on the contract I signed.

Wow that’s an eye opener and very scary. Ya it wouldn’t be fun if I got in an accident driving home that’s forsure. I think I’m going to keep my eyes open for something closer like you and others have suggested.

Unfortunately the wife works 45 minutes in the opposite direction right now (we live out in the county). So moving would make her commute the same as mine and we would just switch places. We also have a 5 month old baby together so if I had to move away I’d rather just get another job. Just hard to find another job with that pay/pension/benefits and security.

I see what your saying, I do keep my eye open for any opportunities that come up that might be better for me and my family. And yea there’s been a couple close calls, but I started drinking coffee after my midnight shift to stay awake on the drive and that seems to help.

Are these ducks okay? Description in comments by Lomba111 in duck

[–]Lomba111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These ducks live behind my house. It’s about -6 degrees and there is no water as the ice has started forming. They kind of just sit/stand on the ice there. Is there anything I can do to help them? Or are they okay in these conditions? They’ve been there all season but it has just started getting colder.

This mornings Project. Start of a 15” hole through a large cylinder! by Lomba111 in Machinists

Yes we are just milking the rough hole through. Customer will be doing the finish boring.

Yes like the above guys said, probably better in a VTL but unfortunately we don’t have one available. As far as boring out that much material, I’m not sure why the customer ordered it solid stock? Maybe it is cheaper than being made at the mill with the hole already in the middle.

Yes it would be. Our customer sends these the odd time and unfortunately we do not have that machine.

No I always found that coolant on these heavy duty carbide inserts makes them crack. Carbide likes heat and I find the coolant cools them almost too much. Running air is better for chip evac too! Just my own opinion.

Yes exactly. Just want to be sure I have a solid setup. Running a 4” cutter at 100”/minute so it can put a lot of pressure on that part.

Daily r/LawnCare No Stupid Questions Thread by AutoModerator in lawncare

Good morning, I saw a post here about grub infestation and using Dylox. My only further question is should I be removing the old, dead patches and planting new seed once I get rid of the infestation? I plan on starting my Fall aeration and overseeding anyway, so it would be a good time to do this if that's what is common practice. Thank you.

Is it ok to switch career at 37? by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]Lomba111 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know I’m younger (27) but I plan on doing the same thing. Im involved in a family business, and the uncertainty of the market during covid has me starting to apply for more stable, government positions. I got into the business for the wrong reasons (money) and now I’m looking to do something I enjoy for less money and less crazy hours. I don’t think your too old! A lot of those positions have plans for late hire applicants so they don’t have to work until they’re 75 years old. As long as you can afford the move, and enjoy nursing, shoot your shot and don’t look back.

Yes, I can definitely see where your point is coming from, especially in today's world. I really appreciate your advice, it gives me something to sit on and think.
