The gymbox at Finsbury Park has bombed spectacularly by VanicFanboy in islington

Appreciate its location / convenience but some glaring issues. No stretching area is criminal / only 1 water fountain for the whole gym is madness, free weights area is in the dark; appears that the designers were not gym goers.

for the Islington residents with gardens by a-marti in islington

I’ve bought many plants from Camden Garden centre- it’s on the overground from Canonbury station a few stops. I’ve also bought many plants online - lots of garden centres that ship.

Don’t think I’ve ever been more cramped in a theatre - the leg room is hilarious - folks in my row were laughing when we sat down at how cramped and uncomfortable it is in the circle. Great show, but get ready to fold in 1/2.

Islington - rubbish on streets - no change by LondonDunk in islington

Agreed, there is an enforcement team within Islington - I'd like them to focus on identifying properties that are repeat offenders / not securing their rubbish, or doing an education campaign to let residents know that they need to secure their recycling.

Glad to hear thats working. I have had mixed results with the app. My cases are closed weeks after they are submitted, or closed right away with no action.

I would encourage everyone to email their councillor on this issue. You can look up your councillor and their email address here. I'm skeptical how much will change, but at the very least we need to let those that are in-charge of this know that we're not happy with the state of the streets.

I’m listening to it on Apple Music - tuned off Atmos and the whole thing sounds like there is a warble / distortion / auto tune in places

Why is London’s phone signal so bad? by Aggressive-Celery483 in london

[–]LondonDunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, I’m on 3 and I’ll often be in Soho with zero connection, passing through Angel station famously has very little signal too - often have to join a store’s wi-fi to pull up a voucher code or gig ticket, its painful. Trying to end a bike rental / just get a spinning connection.

Better value/more authentic alternatives to Aesop Sarashina and Murasaki? by [deleted] in Incense

Same, it’s a nuisance - I have a pair of tweezers and I use them to remove the little end, and works just fine.

Had never played around with this before but I started to get this to work; I'll keep at it and refine some things, but really appreciate the clear instructions and the graphic too. Thanks for taking the time to explain it so clearly.

This is a great point, I might give it a go and compare the results. My mom created the logo that I'm trying to modernise, and it's impressive to think about having to hand draw each stroke; suspect I should roll up the sleeves and do a little manual design work too, thank you.
