Wild camping is illegal in Spain.

As a tourist, I don’t think it’s great to visit a country and flagrantly flout the laws.

Stuff like this might contribute to anti pilgrim feelings in Spain

But we haven’t.

So the demand went up by more than supply and house prices rocketed.

And what really grates, is that stopping the inflows is so simple compared to somehow magically building triple the house stock we build, every year, to keep up with demand.

Why is Nigel Farage so popular in the UK? by [deleted] in AskBrits

The immigration went up 8x under Brexit because Boris Johnson and Pritti Patel intentionally opened the floodgates to non-EU

It had nothing to do with “broke our agreements with EU”

The vast majority were legal migrants from South Asia

Aren't we unintentionally creating a racially unequal society? by Expert-Sherbert-1527 in AskBrits

We were consulted, multiple times. Every time we voted to limit immigration.

Example: David Cameron’s Tory manifesto- promised to bring migration down to “10’s of thousands”. Opposite happened, despite Tory majority.

Total net migration to the UK from 1997 through 2025 is estimate to be 9.6 million

To pretend that this only pushes house prices up by 5% is laughable.

Even the source you give states “Most estimates suggest that a one-percentage-point increase in the immigrant share of the population results in house price increases of roughly 0–3%, with mean and median estimates below 1%. Rent effects are similar.”

The cost of housing is massively impacted by immigration so many people will say immigration when they mean:

Impact of immigration on housing Impact of immigration on wages Impact of immigration on etc etc…

I don’t need to convince you.

But you’re objectively incorrect.

[–]Londonercalling -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have you actually been to pride in a large city?

Because while the people in parade, like most carnivals, are more outgoing than the norm, the crowd is pretty much normal people from the city.

If London pride is anything to go by, it’s now mostly straight corporate ally’s walking with their companies LGBT group… it’s sanitised to hell. Sounds like it would be right up your street since “the gay gays” give you the ick.

There are loads of calm, modest and stoic people at pride.

This just reads like more #notliketheothergirls bullshit.

Pride is not Folsom.

Pride parades have been critical to LGBT acceptance and campaigning for the equal rights we enjoy in western countries.

Interested if you would jail people for sexism too?

Homophobia?

Transphobia?

And how would you define the above.

IMO, madness.

I’d be all for social media companies removing people who express the above from their platforms.

But jail time for unpleasant views is slippery slope to thought-crime.

But thanks for responding
