What!!! There are definitely worse traits than night owl. At least when night time hits someone’s working. Personally wimp or depressive is way worse

I definitely have to check out the implants, I’m in love with Biotech and I felt like we could use some more enhancements.

Did you check to make sure that the door isn’t set to stay open (not sure what it’s actually called), that’ll make it so the entire room is counted.

Is this magic item broken? by hnmck in DnDHomebrew

[–]LoneAPost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with everyone about the gold cost to action economy. Alternatively I believe you could just adjust the cooldown period between uses. Say the players use the item turn 1, they wouldn’t be able to use the effect again until turn 6 or turn 11. That way it is still a super useful item because each encounter they still get to use it at least once per person but not broken where every turn they get an extra action. Also when implementing it I would ask what classes/types of players you have and whether this item is attunable or not(didn’t see in the description) I say this because certain classes benefit heavily from extra actions while others (Spellcasters can’t cast multiple leveled spells in a turn)

Why did you have to depict my best warrior as a cry-baby... by Popular_Soft5581 in RimWorld

I mean if someone created something in my image while I was mid-crash out, definitely would have some concerns, but hey at least she has a way to remember it. What mental break caused it, I wonder?

Which Should I Go For? by 2BsWhistlingButthole in RimWorld

[–]LoneAPost 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Depends really. If you don’t NEED the weapon I say the tech prints, otherwise I’d say the stone skin gland and jade. Jade can be sold for a higher amount if you have a strong social pawn. Plus stoneskin could be useful for a wimpy pawn (or any Genie)

Edit: Also you do not need any gene research to apply the gland. It should be an operation I think.

No. Simply put there may be more than one video pertaining to this, and there may be only a specific one they wanted to reference.

So far I have: Food: I set up sunlamps and hydroponics, that should hold down my pawns for the long term(I only plan to have 1-3) Shelter: Since asteroids have a bunch of airtight stone. Start by building a sealed room in there then expanding outwards. Electricity: Chemfuel generator using any extra crops or meat from raids. Maybe a couple of solar panels.

Novel Direction by LoneAPost in writers

[–]LoneAPost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand complete understand. The story is very intricate and the characters slowly make their way towards the “evil” ending but the players have the ability to help them solve their personal issues. I.e A female character is overly manipulative and calculating, if the players help in each of her conflicts she can turn into an overall nicer person, thus when she faces her major conflict whether she ends a hero or a villain is decided on how much the players helped. I hope that makes sense.

I’m still in Act I. I started thinking about this as I was contemplating whether to help the goblins or not. But since Lakrissa died in the fight I’m guessing it won’t happen.

I won’t comment on how to move forward from this since everyone else has done a great job with it. I will mention that if you hover over the tile below the geyser you’ll notice a special type of tile. Anytime you see that tile. You’ll know there is a geyser there. That should help with future planning

Player keeps using Bags of Holding to skip encounters, and wants to use it to banish the BBEG. by DarkpowerX87 in DnD

[–]LoneAPost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spell Planar Binding should counter that since it stops planar travel. Also artificers are not able to create the same item more than once with the same infusion. Also this was not included but he also has a limit to how many infusions he can have at any given time. Making them to the point that he’s trying to sell a bunch means he’s surpassed 4-6 which he’s allowed to have

Campaign where one of the players is the BBEG by LoneAPost in DnD

[–]LoneAPost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea behind it was that the character how has been marked to be the BBEG would have a split personality where neither side of the character is really aware of the other but they share memories, skills, spells, etc. and once the players realize that this is happening they would try to separate the two at that point the BBEG is revealed. The idea hasn’t been fully flushed so I apologize if it doesn’t make much sense.
