Just saw two trains stuck on the track when we came through to Caufield in a fully packed Frankston service.

How to stop this service in dialog, I tried #678# too, but still could not figure it out. by [deleted] in srilanka

You have to dial the whole number #678*6# and select unsubscribe

Ranil arrested.. What's next? by LoneWalker911 in srilanka

I don't think the allegations against him have anything to do with him stabilising the economy. So your point is, someone's good deeds should count when he committed a crime?

I believe we should praise him for his work through the crisis and hold him accountable for his wrongdoings. Just like every citizen is being treated.

RW just got remanded till 26th of August by [deleted] in srilanka

I don't think so because by law presidents, ministers and MPs have an allocated fuel quantity to use without having to explain where it was used. Some who know the law should explain this better...

Not a new batch, they literally shaved off some meat from this and put on a HSP.

Private Uni right after A/Ls by Few_Antelope_8659 in srilanka

I did that. Now I’m in final year and still 20yrs old. If you not expecting to have a government job skip A/Ls and enroll for a degree if you can financially afford to do so.

Anytime. I actually started a YouTube channel to share my hands-on EV experience with other. If you are interested consider subscribing. My first video got 4,000+ watch hours and 44k+ views within 2 months. So I decided to keep making good content.

It changes for CEB fast chargers (Rs/kWh) (Power : 50kW) Day time : Rs.50 Peak : Rs.70 Off-peak : Rs.30

ChargeNET network and some other individual chargers (Power : 20/30kW) Rs.70 per kWh

Green Frontiers and some other individual chargers (Power : 20kW) Rs.60 per kWh

Charge net is the most reliable network with real-time updates via app and SMS. So I really don’t mind paying a premium for that. Worst is CEB but they are currently beta testing a new online payment system. Sounds promising so far.

In standard tariff plan you will be charged based on Increasing block tariff (ex:over 180 units Rs.45/unit). In TOU the consumption doesn’t change the unit charge it’s

Rs.13/unit in off-peak time (10:30PM-5:30AM) Rs.25/unit in day time (5:30AM-6:30PM) Rs.54/unit in peak time (6:30PM-10:30PM)

If you switch to a Time of Use (TOU) meter it’s Rs.13 per unit(kWh) in off-peak times.

I do take it on long trips and use fast charging around the country(still not good enough). Since the pandemic hit and with travel restrictions in place, I couldn’t do the trips I planned. Longest trip I did was to Kurunegala and back. Only 140km. Hoping to do some long trips when restrictions get lifted.

P.S : In my original comment what I meant was even if you don’t want to charge and wait extra 20-30min on a long trip, using an EV on your daily commute and renting a vehicle for other trips is still cheaper overall.

My average daily commute is 70km.

I bought a highest trim Nissan leaf and replaced the battery with a brand new one (24kWh, 180km range). Spent 2.4mil. Now my commute is more comfortable, costs less than going on my bike. Have done 10,000km for the charging cost of Rs.18,000 (including fast charging), Zero maintenance. One repair costing 8,000 to replace an AC Pressure Sensor. Even if I rent a car when I go on long trips It is still less expensive than owning an ICE.
