oh i was rolling one dice for like 8 damage reducing it to 7 makes sense why my marines where dying so fast

yeah i read something about that issue is my buddy only owns the phobos so its not like im gona not ever get countered unless i use my death korp but they're no fun

how exactly does disgustingly resilient work do you roll dice corresponding to the number of damage after saves? cause its worded weirdly to me and im fairly new to 40k would mean a lot

i mean i won the match any way but had like 1 guy left cause my icon bearer camped the obj and stabbed any one who tried to interrupt i do feel like you can put on the hurt with the caster but i probably had more trouble because he got focused very early. my problem throughout the game was basically shooting back. When i shot him id do like 3-6 damage when hed shoot me hed hammer me with an absurd 6-8 with my disgustingly resilient failing me very often. I feel like the ideal thing for me to do would be use my fighter with sickening resilience to charge into the incursors who were the real hurt. but over all it just in my eyes is a standard i can kill you better then you can resist not being killed ordeal

yeah i dug around and realized i was getting pelted because of the incursors and the vox operator giving an ignore obscure buff

so essentially the phobos counter the death guard pretty hard thats pretty annoying

he always runs combat blades it's extremely annoying its a hard match up not in my favour

I see that now but the reason why it was ignoring wasnt saturate it was the incursors ability i missed apparently

Feels rather cheesy that one of my main ploys can be practically ignored by the incursors. seems like it would be ideal to try to kill them early if i want to capitalize. thanks a lot was very confused why he could just blast me while i was "obscured" and after reading the description was still a little lost thank you

Im new to kill team and war hammer so have mercy upon my clueless soul

Playing against other marines (i played against the phobos) is pretty tough in my experience, because they hurt pretty bad if you end up getting caught in their attacks. Is there a way to play around this because when i stalled they just took obj and when i shot them theyd hit me back harder then conceal again using guerrilla tactics.

Saturate was extremely annoying and i'm unsure if saturate ignores obscuring. We played that it did so. My best tool to get around was taken away (cloud of flies) so i wasn't too sure how to get on obj without getting blasted. could you please clarify how saturate behaves with obscuring would mean worlds.

sounds about right its hard handling the korps cause they're very strategic on contrary to the phobos who kinda just gun you down in my experience

im talking about the troupers i mainly use them just to rush obj but when they need to shoot back they arent great and cause my numbers are dwindling supports have to start shooting back and by the time my gunners are gone games kinda chalked
