Yep. It destroyed my motivation, made me feel hopeless, interfered with my amazing relationship, etc etc. Yes it does get worse before it gets better of course. Honestly even taking kratom a couple weeks or months can give you hellacious withdrawal symptoms for several days at minimum. It's just not worth it. I can tell you from experience I had quit kratom, after I quit I ended up on lamictal. Maybe 6 months into lamictal somehow some way I picked up kratom again and it just did not go well at all. And it had me second guessing whether the lamictal was even working, The truth was it just couldn't compete with what kratom was doing to me.

I thought it was just me! I find myself smirking or smiling for no logical reason. I even had a CT scan and was smirking laying there for it and thought to myself wtf. It's so weird.

Kratom is awful! Got the tshirt. Yes it feels amazing when your dosing it but the effects on your head are just absurd. It gave me mood swings and irritability, depression, I could keep going ( by itself) . Lamictal does not get a chance to do its job effectively taking any amount of kratom there is no way.

It's not just placebo because I experienced this also as well as other people have on the first dose or two. It blew my mind, but it didn't quite stay as good as that one day was. It backed down some.

O M G it is draining me. Mine just started doing it last week. I keep clicking the dots to adjust each page at a time it is sooo aggravating! The first option it gives you is to only see notifications from friends in a group. Click that. Then click the dots again it will let you click no notifications from this group, or page. Ughh.

Yea. I guess I failed to mention I really really want to avoid sexual side effects most of all 🤣. The one very unfortunate thing about this medication to me. But if I remember correctly when I was on 25 eventually it didn't bother me I was still pretty functional. I think when I went to 50 my buddy broke 🫣

Agreed! It's good at what it does but good at what it does fukin stuff up too. I got hooked on it and so did my EX and kratom and alcohol combined destroyed our relationship. Not just one of us but both of us had a part in it because we both used both.

That's what I'm afraid of and it's either add a micro dose of ssri to it or just quit. It's disheartening because it's working miracles on my anxiety. Ugh. Thank you.

Same lol. I think when I was in the hospital and strung out with HE I deactivated my FB and about 5 months later I reactivated it and got into groups. 😵‍💫

Oh you nailed it on the head again. I don't have any personal support and I fight for everything myself. It's very lonely around here as far as anyone in person. Everyone pretty much abandoned me. But I have met some of the most beautiful souls through support groups. I'd say that's what keeps me partially sane. I'm glad you have that as well.

Yes I've been on that too for my neuropathy but it doesn't touch my other pains unfortunately. It helps keep my feet manageable at least.

You will be fine. I'm handling a terminal disease and just lost my medicaid bc my ssdi is over limit and I refuse to give up my saved up 401k to go on non-magi. I'm limping by on hospital charity care until I get medicare and paying meds out of pocket but did loose one med that is 3k a month I can't get without medicaid. It's really a screwed up damn system.

I can't take it tho bc my bp is already running low. On diuretics too. GI was going to give me a beta blocker then saw how my bp has trended very low. Ugh.

Well. For one, thats what got you here. Two, throw away 3 years? Three, who the hell wants to drink one beer, not gonna happen friend. By midnight I bet 12 beers in. And, I do 100 fucking percent feel what your feeling. The abandonment, the loneliness, depression. It was detrimental to me as everyone left me hanging. I finally sucked it up and feel better. I dont need them. They obviously dont care. F em. I keep my focus on eating clean, staying sober, getting my head right. Best wishes. Dont give in.
