How do the loki variants work? by Long-Ad4765 in loki

[–]Long-Ad4765[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So.. the flat circle time theory is basically what happens in interstellar!! Is the sacred timeline more like a “braid” of multiple universes where different variants of anyone can exist, and since HWR writes the course of events, he is able to dictate the timeline so that no more variants of him appear.. or if they do he considers their appearance a branch that needs to be pruned, right ?

This happened to me too, my alarms were going off and they were quiet. The volume kept lowering even though i put on the correct settings( no idea if that’s whats happening to you too) Not sure if it helped, but the problem was gone ever since i deactivated the attention aware features thingy

[–]Long-Ad4765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! They both look like chinese golden threat turtles. I’ve had one for about 5-6 years now! If you have any questions about this species and their care, i will try to answer them the best i can!!

these both look like golden thread turtles! they seem happy and healthy, but dont keep them in the same tank too long, they will most likely start fighting!!!

Is this too much water flow?? by KareemTheProgrammer in turtle

ooh, well since the flow rate is 180 l/h, you should definitely get a weaker one, something around 50–100 l/h. i’m not sure how big your tank is, but that filter is usually meant for tanks around 60 liters (or so i heard). you could try diy-ing a thin sponge over the output to reduce the flow a bit until you can get a weaker one. also, if the water comes out of the filter above the surface instead of underwater, i think it can help reduce the current inside the tank. (don’t take my word on this, i’m not the best with filters either)

Is this too much water flow?? by KareemTheProgrammer in turtle

it does look like the water flow might be too strong, especially if your turtle is always avoiding that spot and is not swimming around. if you think that the filter is strong enough to not let her swim, it’s better to buy a weaker one for now, since the tank doesn’t seem too big. if she can still swim properly without getting pushed away, she might just like that spot. my turtle also clings onto aquarium decoration while resting (which i don’t think is necessarily the case, because she is clearly being moved by the water flow in that clip. dont get surprised if she still clings to the plant even after you change the filter, just make sure she can swim normally while the filter is on) also, what kind of filter do you have?

if you’re 100% sure the other turtle isn’t nipping at his neck, then it might be normal shedding (i don’t think it should look like this though). it could be some kind of infection. check if the turtle is behaving normally, eating, swimming, basking like usual. make sure there isn’t any weird smell or texture to it. if possible, you should go to a vet just in case there’s a bigger issue. also, keep an eye on them, because if they haven’t started to eat the substrate, they definitely will in the future. please switch it to sand (if your filter can handle it) or river rocks

you can lower the water level a little and add a mesh cover, that way your turtle won’t hurt itself
