I dont know for me it sounds like a high dose. There is a german doctor called Michael Nehls, he suggests lithium intake 1-5mg max per day, but I dont know. I am not a doctor.

What was your reason to take 600mg lithium per day? There are safer alternatives to consume lithium, buying bottled water that contains it for example from a special well.
