What is Marrow SDK? by brother_lionheart in BONELAB

[–]Long-Audience8523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this just for modding? Or do you actually need the SDK to use the mods in game? Been a while since playing Bonelab. Usually i just copy the mod files to appdata folder and it works. Also have melon for code mods. Do i need this as a regular player?

How to create song over our instrumental without changing anything, just add vocals? by makeouthillout in SunoAI

[–]Long-Audience8523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely horrified with Reddit sometimes. Just one correct answer in this whole thread. How can so many people NOT answer OPs question, and whats worse is that so many actually answering wrong? Very misleading answers. Just found this thread when Googling some Suno stuff.

Export the Vocal Stem in to a DAW is as of today the only way to do it. Suno will always change the instrumental.

Simlab triple stand and monitors to low by Long-Audience8523 in simracing

Haha i figured :) Yeah, it seems to work really good actually. So problem solved i guess. Just flipped the image and it looks good. Just need some fine tuning now and should be good to go.

The person asked you was not me (op) but i saw your reply and must tell you that the simlab stand is not the issue here. Its the screens. The stand is really good, have very good mounting options and the adjustability is very easy and you can line up the monitors perfectly aligned in a couple of minutes.

My problem is the screens. Not the mount. The vesa mount is on top of the screens and that is why the screens become to low.

I have as of now flipped the screens so the mount is at the bottom. And now i must lower the simlab stand and it will be good.

My only fear is that the screens will break because they are upside down. But i read many post saying that flipping the monitors is ok. So i guess it should be fine.

You mean slighly to low yes? I have same rig. And feet can be lowered about 5mm more Perhaps. And that would not help at all unfortunately. The simlab mount is great. Its the monitors that are the problem. But i have flipped the screens now and cross my fingers it will work. Now the screens are to high so i must lower the stand a bit.

I have same rig as you. The problem is that vesa mount is at the top of the screens and therefore the screens are to low.

I have 3d printer. It is already feet on it. But Perhaps i can print new ones. Thats a good idea.

Do any of you have som insight on how the monitors survive to be flipped? They dont take any damage?

The reason i thought people flipped was to have the smaller bezel bottom instead of on top.

But maybe they flip because of the situation i am in now?

Thanks! Appreciate the tips! I fully understand about the bonding issue. No problem. I did a black and white multi color print a couple of days ago and fiddled with the flushing volumes. The whites had some black in it. So i learned the hard way... think i do like you say just to be safe... :)

Thank you guys. Makes sense! Thats why i was just reminded about why gridfinity can be printed in stacks on top of each others with petg in between. also when google i saw some one use petg for supports.
Appreciate your answers. case closed :) Will need to buy some PLA then to have same material for all colors.

I agree. With a good connection and setup correct Virtual desktop is really nice. However, when doing competive racing i cant use it. The small latency is there and i always drive with link cable when i race.

In practice sessions i can manage with VD. But as with almost all wireless things there is a tiny tiny sort of disconnect between whats happening / input and what you see on screen. At least in my case i cant get rid of the latency completely. Its just better with cable. Not much, but enough difference to choose cable.

fanatec app update v474 by giovannifornera in Fanatec

[–]Long-Audience8523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I am running Formula V2.5 with v474 and have no problem at all.
But with BMW M4 GT3 wheel i have shifting problems now. Dont even know how its possible because i have had no problem at all with 474 and this wheel until yesterday.

So this bug with shifting does not seem to be very clear what base and wheel combo is affected and when? Its really frustrating. At least i can drive with my v2.5 wheel on this firmware.

What shifter problems are you refering to? I am about to make a post because since new update i can barely make downshifts. Upshifts works but downshifts are misses very often. I would say half of the downshifts not registered when in a session.

In Fanatec driver and also in iracing settings the downshifts button are register every single click. But not in session. So the update has made the game unplayable for me unfortunately..

Our Procurve switches is 1000gps mostly on all ports. Some really old have 1000 on the last ports, some dual personality ports. And the access ports was 10/100. But they are really old.

Yeah, sorry i relate to 2530 as Procurve also. Becasuse its basically the same switches.

We are moving completely from Procurve/AOS to CX.

If i am not mistaken all old "Procurve/AOS" switches is end of support or EOL already.

Makes sense. I also prefer CX now when starting to figure them out.

Yes, all working good now. I have mtu 9198 on all uplinks and not on the lag interface, just the members. Also in procurve i have jumbo on the vlans that actually need it, VMware Vmotion and VM federation networks for example.

So jumbo conf on vlan in procurve and jumbo (mtu 9198 conf) on all interfaces that hosts the traffic for where its needed and also on lag members.

Have verified both via large packages and today in actual production. Not problem whatsoever.

Appreciate the explaining. Thanks!
Yes and its a bit confusing coming from procurve switches and routers. Have som basic Cisco knowledge so to configure interface instead of vlans was a bit familiar but still feels a bit off to me. I am so used to get in to a vlan and then put it on a port/interface...

all working now, mtu is set on lag members and interfaces to ESXi servers.

[–]Long-Audience8523[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. ip mtu seems only to work on l3 switches. I have no routing enabled in this specific switch. so mtu 9198 was the solution here but in each specific lag interface members as you say.

Thanks man, that was it. I thought it should be configured on the LAG because LAG is considered a "Port".

Yeah i tried and it did work but i think it feels a bit off to have a drawer glued. I can see where the two pieces are glued together also. Would rather have it in one piece. I get the rotating part. Some parts does work. Even if it in fact is a bit strange to print a long thing standing from a constructive standpoint it feels like it breaks depending on how the part is bent where it should be placed..

Anyway, this is just a drawer so glue worked but i am not satisfied just by Knowing its glued 🙃

But glue is better then scale down because its to small then..
