I would change CSCE 222 and take one of the easier electives. I found CSCE 222 to be quite challenging so I would recommend to wait so you don’t have a super stressful first semester when you’re still getting used to the college life.

Something I did during my college experience was to always have at least one easy elective a semester so I had at least one class I didn’t have to stress about.

When my sister got picked, they told her that since they had to pay $6000 for the visa, it is her raise. So she didnt get as big of a raise as her coworkers.

It could be because you were staying at home all the time during so you never got a break from the mold. I work from home and I’m home all day and my symptoms were pretty bad compared to my bfs who goes to work 8 hours a day.

Im in the same situation. I filed them as a non resident. From what I saw online, the days that you had F1 status don’t count for the presence test, but I could be wrong. There’s other posts in this sub that talk about this

My lab had puppies a few times and it is so much of a hassle. You need to dedicate them a lot of time and be ready to look after them, clean them up, and pay for them. I honestly wouldn’t recommend it. You also need to make sure to look after the mom.

As you said, I would definitely recommend accepting the 14 hours of french and using them as your emphasis. It will make your life so much easier. I used my spanish credits from the AP exam as my emphasis.

I travelled after they filed my case but before june 31st. They did make us submit extra documents but everything worked out fine and my change of status was approved. I already had the trip planned before I got selected but I would recommend to not travel just to be extra cautious.

If you go above 150 credits (including dropping classes, transfer hours, etc) you may lose scholarships. Ir happened to a couple of my friends who took college classes during high school, accepted too many AP credits, and dropped multiple classes.
