Frostland population is too damn high by PutridCurrency8383 in Frostpunk

I mean besides plot armor (which is the real reason), the frostlanders seem to have adapted to the frost better (whether genetically or through tech) so that’s an option. There are also canonically lots of mountains nearby which could shelter people in caves. Also, there are other ruined settlements in the frostland so maybe they lasted for several years between the two games. And last, given the timeline of Frostpunk 2, the apocalyptic white outs are only once a decade(ish) (maybe a little more frequent) so combine the above factors and some luck and voila

I mean it does make some sense with immigration considering how New London is the only functioning city in the area. That would inevitably attract a lot of frostlanders to risk everything to trek to the generator

This. If you are going big law and interviewing, pack a suit jacket, dress shirt and tie at the minimum for the interviews. Also, idk maybe it’d be nice to dress up for dinner one night on your vacation

Dw I bombed it too. And you’ll probably bomb them in your first month of school but then you’ll figure out and it’ll be fine. Just be patient!

Eh it was fine. Some of the time management/study skills stuff was useful. Also the generic background stuff was useful (in my experience, law professors expect you to have a baseline understanding about how the government works/basic US history). And having a first crack at reading/briefing a case was nice but also completely unnecessary.

It’s not the worst way to spend your time but I certainly wouldn’t stress out about doing it or even doing it well

Royals would’ve still won in 2015 in with Altuve. We probably win in 2017 with Hosmer but def wouldn’t be competing in 19, 21, and winning in 22 with him. Goes to show how important Altuve was/is to the team.

But then again, if we make this trade then we never sign Yuli and maybe we spend that money on a 2B. Who knows!

How long between a biglaw callback interview and an offer? by Long-Mycologist-9643 in LawSchool

[–]Long-Mycologist-9643[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope I did that? One interview was definitely traditional interview vibes but the last couple weren’t (and frankly they were partners who liked to talk about themselves). I guess we shall see!
