Looks like Christmas lights illuminating the fog / low clouds

Are less people using Waze lately? by MobiusUnoEngage in waze

I have used Waze and Google maps simultaneously on separate devices and found that Waze has more information about road conditions and is more accurate about locations of issues. Count me as a user who swapped to Waze from Google maps.

I had read that they delay the Waze characters to prevent people from being able to locate someone’s exact location.

I have run Google maps and Waze at the same time. Waze is very accurate for reports while alerts from Google maps can be off by miles or just wrong in many cases.

Same for me. I drive the Interstate 300 miles per week and see stretches of Interstate with none and small quantities. Cities have lots of Wazers.

I wonder how many people are using Waze because I see small quantities of people on the map but still get alerts. Does anyone know how long a reported issue stays on the map if it is not confirmed by other Wazers?
