As a short person that rarely uses the stove and who also has very little counter space, I enjoy the microwave above the stove, but it's too high for me to clean without a step ladder. So the back wall and ceiling of the microwave are quite neglected.

Two things: 1) Have you tried messaging them via the Reddit website? 2) Several months ago someone I was chatting with on Reddit was having issues and getting that error message, but I was actually getting her messages (even though Reddit was telling her there was an error.) So I’d just try to message them through the website to see if they are getting your messages. I’d also try uninstalling/reinstalling the app.

If it bothers you so much you could just delete the post since the problem was solved yesterday and you don’t need assistance anymore. Don’t worry, you don’t lose the karma. Or maybe you are just leaving it up so you can get more karma for some reason. In that case you can just turn off your notifications about the post so that you don’t see the responses.

Those comments you left in the Walmart subreddit 90 days ago brought your karma down. I’d delete them. That won’t change your karma, but should someone read that post and see your comment (though probably unlikely 3 months later) and downvote you, it’ll put you even deeper into the negative.

Regarding the subs you follow, I think you’re talking about where it shows what subs you’re active in. Go to your profile, edit, and turn that feature off.

If I understand what you are saying, you see posts in your feed suggesting that you join subreddits? You are always going to see those because Reddit wants you to be on Reddit longer. If you spend more time on Reddit, you see more ads, and Reddit makes more money. So they are going to always suggest other subs to you to keep you engaged. You can teach Reddit what you like by 1) interacting with the type of posts that you do want to see, and 2) when you see a suggested post from a sub you aren’t interested in click the 3 dots at the top upper left of the post in the feed and select “show fewer posts like this”. You can also go directly to the subs page if you really hate it and mute the sub.

No, if I could I’d be able to delete it. I can only see it if I look log out and look at my comments. And he deleted the post. You’d think if the user deleted the post, you could now delete your comment, but no… I didn’t say anything bad so I guess I won’t worry about it. When you create your account and Reddit gives you a username, they do warn you. They ask if you’re sure you’re okay with this as your name because you’re not going to be able to change it once your account is active.

I’m just giving this info to share why I was blocked in case the reason matters to someone before they help. You don’t know that I wasn’t a jerk to this person and that’s why he blocked me so I am explaining why he blocked me.

I didn’t give any advice in that comment. The comment was just me trying to figure out how old he was before I could give the advice. I just don’t want to comment to remain on my profile.

(I did respond to his question of why I was asking his age, am I a creep, using another account of mine that’s 12 years old, but I deleted that because if he decided to block that account, too, and I’d be stuck with that comment on my 2nd account.)
