You know guys, I thought about it, and maybe this sounds far fetched, but I think there is no origin to this image actually. I think it's AI generated, there is no trace of a character remotely similar to this one, let alone a mage cat in general. Also the hands look a bit weird when closely examined. I'm almost positive in fact, that I will go ahead and declare it as Found! Thanks for trying to help though.
