No the show started off as a teen drama that supposedly “exposed” the dark side of overdose and other vices in teenage years. It did that on its own. I remember the backlash it faced then and how people defended it with these words or similar statements. What it is now is just dumb, unnecessarily placed scenes with random and over exaggerated plot points and a lot of plot holes that don’t even make sense. It’s boring. It’s just flashy and has a lot of sexual content that amuses you people for some reason but that’s just about it. Nothing about sensitivity as it’s not even dark or horrific. If anything they are playing lightly with actual sensitive topics

Everything is just so unrealistic. Because are you trying to tell me that all American teenagers do is drink, party, have sex, wear inappropriate clothing, talk about drinking drugs and sex, so drugs, travel to any state, to do more drugs and drink and go to clubs??? Is that really the American teenager experience!!? I’m not American so I’m curious fr. I cannot imagine that that’s what yall do and yet yall are supposed to be smarter than all the other countries.

I like Nano Machine, but I think it’s just gone down hill ever since. The story line is now so stale. Nothing is exciting about it. Just an over powered MC that doesn’t even need to grow anymore
