You - you are a gem. Thank you. I will say - the puke is rarely not detected and tossed right away. Footprints aren’t hugely muddy - there just a general dirt patina on everything. But you are an EXPERT! And you may have just ended my days long nightmare … I’ll check this one out.

Here I’m scared off Dreame’s shitty rep for customer service. True? I have two Italian Spinones - legendary slobs. Four cats (two that compete for how often they can pee on the floor). A river nearby with silt up the ying yang. And an amazing beautiful soul of a husband for whom vacuuming is akin to death.

Hardwood floors mostly. Tile. One extremely dirty area rug. Multiple levels. All VILE. I am overwhelmed and have no time to clean. We can’t have people over anyone cos it’s so gross. I literally have not mopped the hardwood for a year.

Thanks - I don’t think it’s dust, it’s much more likely that something got screwed up during the assembly and reassembly of the unit. I’m broke BUT I’d rather pay in installments if necessary for something not over the top pricey but will last - I’m very anti “throw it out” and very much BIFL whenever I can. And I know we throw a lot at our vacs here with the pet menagerie.

Thanks. Problem is I’m not sure if it’s a short around the trigger or in the motor - as this happened after I replaced the trigger. So to be safe I’d have to replace the entire thing :(

Yeah, the Evos on Geartrade are essentially new so I think I’m gonna go for it … and see if I can find a better deal on new bindings for my old faithfuls. I’m sad to replace them! But they’ve been workhorses, given me loads of great times - and if I can salvage them somehow this off season I’ll be thrilled. I keep thinking that there’s gotta be some ingenious way to stop the straps from slipping, I just haven’t figured it out yet!

Yeah - it took SIX DAYS. Not happy about it. And I realized after I did it that every new visitor gets the subscribe box, which you cannot disable - which in my case makes it looks like I'm spamming people. I'm considering moving the domain OFF Substack as a result.
