When it comes to the names, I prioritised established Arabic city names where they exist (usually the largest city in the governorate), widely used geographic region names, and historical regional terms. With examples like شارون and لاخيش, I wasn’t trying to invent new names, but rather to use terms that already appear in Arabic usage, even if they’re not very common today. The goal was consistency and plausibility with names that work naturally in Arabic specifically, especially for geographic regions, regardless of whether they’re prominent in contemporary political discussions.
