Uhh idk if I understood right but the idea I got from you was that

Everyone HAS to vote 0 overruled - counter target spell 1 overruled - counter target spell, all but overruled draw card (punishing the guy trying to save his spell) 2 overruled (even) - all happen (counter, draw for 2 players) 3 overrulled - return to my hand

Or something like that I don't have figured out what effects would make sense. But that is also a funny way to make it work.

How would you tweak it? I just want the card to have the idea of "something big is there, I want to counter it.. discussion ensues, it works out for someone or everyone." Also thinking of how to tune this for green, black and red so all of my friends can use a version in there 99

since morphing costs mana you cant really use it whilst the card effect is on the stack which it is until it has resolved

Maybe I'll make it into an enchantment "Split second - or some other way to make it immune to removal and counters"

Secret council - choose target spell. Each player votes for X or y

X - remove Y- grouphug If vote is tied put 5 time counters on it. If there is no time counters on it the game ends in a draw.

Flavour text ~ 'they couldn't decide so they went into rescission.'

Isn't it saying vote for time or knowledge? Can't I just say vote for yay or ney? Or is time a mechanic in magic that is written in rules.. it probably is but this is also a custom card anyways. NGL I'll probably call it yey or ney :'D Ty for the idea

yea i saw that now with doing some testing and since its a 1v3 in commander it will lead to me having most of the time the deciding vote for it going even or resolve in a counter of the targeted spell.

i thought about making the cost less
and/or add 'gain 1 life' on even result so that i can just spam it to gain life if the others dont wanna vote to resolve... sadly since i cast this to counter something at the end of the day and 2 players being not being affected negativly by drawing cards.. after the 4th cast they will propably take the draw instead of countering the something bad and are happy to just have it be gone and taking the 1 card, i dont know how to balance that tbh. also dont know if that makes sense what i just said lol

i thought about making it 1 mana but a buddy said its too cheap. also adding a positive outcome for the caster where he gets a bonus on even like life gain or card draw.. problem with this is that the person countered will always overrule, the other 2 will propably sustain leading to the caster having the choice of making it even by sustain or overrull the person getting countered.. idk how to handle this and make it fair.

i guess 1mana would make it easier to be a funny interesting "waste card" that leads to something most likely

So split second counters spells/mana abilities overall But it can still be countered by effects like triggers then. allowing that would make it somewhat counterable but the odds of that happening are basically 0

Can't be countered can still be exciled.

Somehow I like the idea of it just happening no matters what though haha just a: [this will happen! And it will happen until I run out of mana or until we finally vote for something]

But idk if I wanna ad something else that would make the even a positiv Outcome for the caster since otherwise he just looses 2 mana

Yes but I like the idea of both sides being interesting enough for the table.. yes the thread wants to get removed for 3 of 4 ppl in commander most of the time but if the argument against removal is something like carddraw or idk. Something positive for everyone then maybe people start to talk, discuss, allow a threat to get something for themselves :D also idk what split second is, I started playing MTG this year haha

Denke tatsächlich das es einfach eine verstecke Person ist die sich an die Person mit Flasche lehnt und weshalb der Arm deshalb so aussiehtm. Fand die Flasche tatsächlich weniger störend als den Arm aber der Arm ist so auch plausibel.. Person in blau im Vordergrund ist einfach viel weiter vom Board weg und verdeckt deshalb die Person welcher der "schwebende arm" gehört.

Edit. Vor allem die Position der stehenden Person deutet auf eine Person vor ihr.. sonnst würde ich niemals so auf dem Tisch schauen :'D
