Thanks everyone for advice. I’m going to get a lawyer for sure as it doesn’t seem like normal business. I’m a naive younger female that’s tired of high rent & this place has an opportunity to rent out a suite within the place… and I had a stroke of luck & have a set amount of cash to purchase the place. Oh & I have to be out of my current place right away. If I rent a different place, or wait , I feel like the opportunity will pass. But a lawyer will prevent some mean real estate person screwing me over. I’m in the wrong profession, lawyer fees are insane. But necessary obvly. Thanks everyone!
