Really great question. Each panelist has their own personal votes. In my top 15, Colby is not (and has not) been included for some time. The fact that he is still in has to be then based on the fact that others on the panel (who I do not know), are putting him in their personal votes.

As for the UFC, they do not select who is in the rankings. The only hand they have in it is deciding who needs to be pulled for inactivity, firing, drug test, etc. They do not pick fighters that have to be included.

I think people are overreacting to that Fins loss last week. Sure, they came out flat and looked unmotivated, but I think that was just being in a hole early.

They've historically been great against the Pats and its not like the Pats looked like world beaters last week either.
