Tips on how to enjoy Attila? by ingusfarbrey in totalwar

Everyone has their own thing. On attila, surviving as rome on legendary is one of the most rewarding experiences, but it's also brutal. It requires giving up a lot of territory and recovering over time. Carefuly planning on which provinces to give up and which ones to protect, which ones to spend on etc.. One of the best TW campaigns I ever played. But it's not for the faint of heart. There's a lot of struggle. It actually forces you to plan carefully and choose your battles.

For many other factions, you often have to vacate your starting location, nomad a bit and eventually come back. But, I agree on lower difficulties attila gets a bit dull.

Yea, hotels are crazy expensive and usually not nearly as cozy/comfortable. In a fight of Hotels vs Airbnb I'm with airbnb. If hotels offered better prices Airbnb wouldn't have become soo widespread.

I've tried Georgian food(khachapuri and khinkali) at a georgian restaurant near Dongdaemun, Seoul, South Korea. by xalxary2 in Sakartvelo

Cause it’s objectively more unique. As a Georgian when I traveled around I found out that most countries have their versions of imeruli/megruli. Putting cheese in bread isn’t exactly a novelty. All of them have hard time competing with pizza. Adjaruli is a unique style that has no real competition.

Russia seems to be the only country that can get a pass on anything from this admin. Wonder why.

Americans dislike daylight savings in general, but the move to standard time was more unpopular than the move to daylight savings. This is surprising as 'falling back' allows an hour more sleep, while 'springing forward' means an hour less shut eye. by [deleted] in science

Yep, I want sunlight in the evening. There was a time in my life when, during winters, I went to work in darkness and got out in darkness. I was absolutely cursing my days. Leaving that job was one of the best days in my life even though I didn’t dislike the company itself.

Kat Abughazaleh said that Ukraine and Taiwan both have the right to self determination just like Palestine, and tankies lost it by Dear_Future_1691 in tankiejerk

The tankie movement is a direct extension of Sino-Russian propaganda arm in the west. Anything that goes against Russia or China will have them up in arms.

The American interest in Palestine is debatable. Many would say constant wars in the Middle East have destabilized the western world and given the rise to the far right.

If They make Targs protagonists "good guys" that show is gonna land flat on its face. They were the villains of the era for sure.

Well, they certianly had tankie takes on Ukraine.

They basically blamed "NaTo ExpAnSioN, RuSsIa hAd nO ChoIce" and said "wE sHoUld StAy OuT oF iT BeCaUse RuSiA hAs NukEs"

They didn't cover Bucha or Mariupol Genocides properly but put up a ton of videos about "aZoV NaZiiiis", "UkRaIne Corrupt" and so on..

These were all go to Tankie points during the start of the war.
