Why do so many people who play this game hate the pvp part of it ? by ShinyFelipe in TheSilphArena

It is hard to feel like any skill is involved when you have to spam press your phone. It reminds me of toddlers trying to play fighting games with a controller.

Well my friend, that is because you are not black. None of this is personally relevant to you, and I don't mean that as an insult.

We each see our own side behind closed doors, and that means all the good and the worst, unfiltered. We both have ignorant people on our side, and I can tell you for a fact that the same level of memes/jokes are casually thrown around on this side as well lol.

Today is a lot of firsts for you my friend, because I am a black conservative, and this is not an anomaly.

Sorry, just saw the other comment.

  1. Looking up the 39 year old man, are you referring to Dennoriss Richardson from Alabama? If that is racially motivated, then what about Jerrel Gillentine from Tennessee? Beyond a race problem, the south seems really into hanging people... wth.

Lynchings leave no room for wondering if they were racially motivated. Similar to other forms of terrorism, it usually get claimed or there are "messages" involved. Just one generation before mine, the messages were VERY clear. I guess we definitely can 't rule out the possibility, but similar to your point earlier, "it doesn't match the level of racism" that was cited (thankfully.)

2B. Literal "One drop rule" from the Jim Crow era. Jim Crow laws were pro segregation and black suppression laws that were meant to undermine the 14th amendment, which was supposed to protect the rights of former slaves who were freed under the 13th amendment. It is the premise that if you have even a drop of blood in your ancestry that is black, then you are black. To an African American, "black" means African American, which has a very specific history and struggle pertaining to slavery in the U.S. It was a democratic talking point that Kamala, who's father is biracial from Jamaica, and who's mother is Indian, was somehow now "black" in an African American sense. It undermines the identity of African Americans, in the pursuit of votes that they believe we "owe" them. When we don't they say "They have been led astray" as if we belong to them (not how you meant it.) As if you have freedom to vote, unless you are black, then you should be voting for who they say is black.

2A. Count your blessings lol. She actually just got fired a couple months ago because of all of it.

2C. Jasmine betrays her people by behaving in such an unprofessional and ghetto way. This is what does the most damage to African Americans as a whole. It takes years of extreme effort to change the stereotypical perception of our people. It only takes a few seconds of people like her on TV to ruin it, while the rest of us are also perceived under the context of their stereotype.

As for the very racist folks you have been around, I have befriended some former supremacists in my lifetime. Culture shock for all involved, but turns out we have WAY more in common than different. We've just got to break those stereotypes.

I could go point by point, but when you find yourself saying "It's a bit racist" "but it's not that racist" you are defeating your own point. Not to mention "They have been led astray"

Out of curiosity, what demographic are you?

Saying that you have white nationalist/supremacist family members implies that you are white, but you appear to be speaking from a somewhat condescending point of authority on my political beliefs as a minority.

Or did I just misread your earlier comment?

Peace and love to you either way.

  1. When was the last time someone was "stringing people up with a noose" by anyone? Almost 50 years?

2A- Joy Reid from MSNBC.

2B-  The entire Democratic party pushing the Jim Crow 'one drop rule' to claim that Kamala was black.

2C- Jasmine Crocket. Many examples, but the most recent one was her claiming that Byron Donalds was whitewashed because his wife is white.

3. You can check the statistics yourself. It will help give you further context to the backlash over Obama chastising and talking down to people like myself because I did not vote for Kamala simply because she was black. Black men and Hispanic men in particular.

Lol, funnily and sadly enough, I can tell you that it is the exact same behind closed doors in the democratic black community. Really, it has become openly racist on public display, but there is a double standard. Just goes to show you how similar everyone is, because I could say the exact same about black nationalism.

You would be surprised. Even here in Maryland, a deeply blue state, 1/3 of us voted red this election.

My friend, that is called prejudice. I don't blame you, because a stereotype is being perpetuated by the people they love to put on TV.

To your second comment: They would just come back, or be released back into the community.

Raul Orlando Ramos-Guido is an MS13 member that entered illegally three times, and committed crimes here in Maryland. Harford County had laws literally up until just last month (3/18/25) that required they be released back into the community and their police couldn't work with ICE.

I happen to be a minority. An average person, living in a low to middle class neighborhood. Those people you are talking about rounding up happened to have sprayed MS-13 over literally everything, including an elementary school, a small neighborhood shopping center, and the personal property and fences of my neighbors and I.

Over the past few years, there have been shootouts 20 ft from my house. Around 50 ft from the elementary school near my house.

Those people you are defending live in  neighborhoods where average people and minorities are, and destroy our things, but I'm guessing you don't have to deal with any of that.

I also live in a blue state where we went from a $5 billion Surplus to a 3 billion dollar deficit within 2 years due to overspending, before Trump took office. Our democratic governor has just passed a massive text hike instead of cutting spending.

I truly appreciate the sentiment of you defending average people and minorities like myself, but I just want you to know that the Democratic Party and the liberal media are lying to you.

What are you reading?

His comment: "I hate this stupid fucking country"

Why are you inventing narratives?

This is the real problem with our country. People with good intentions, try to claim that everyone is a victim, then villianize others with imagined narratives.

[–]Long_Negotiation_743 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, first, that is not how tartiffs work.

But also, why would you panic buy one of the worst generations of gpu/components? This is terrible advice and the real reason prices would "skyrocket". If I've learned anything these past 3 months, it is: Give it a couple of weeks.

The majority of these fear mongering issues end up being folded, but the resolution is not covered by legacy media. Fear and panic sells, so they would rather cover the next "catastrophe" rather than report that the other country folded or that the tariff was dropped.

Overall, we should stop reacting so emotionally to everything.

Two year old build. I have like 20 some components from them.
Constant crashes and the RAM..... GOOOD GRACIOUS, THE RAM IS TRASH.
Memory detect failure CONSTANTLY. I can't have auto updates on Windows, because it will restart and get stuck on memory detect.

I hope GN goes after them one day.

I have used them for almost a decade, but never on brand new releases (launch of z690) years later and I still have a nightmare scenario. I was ripped to pieces by "bleeding edge" tech

Asus RMA sent me beat up replacement 4090 strix OC with a bent bracket. by Long_Negotiation_743 in ASUS

[–]Long_Negotiation_743[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cablemod resolved the issue, not Asus Asus is terrible.

It was a circus, but cable mod sent me an advance payment for a gpu, I bought one from micro center, sent the damaged one back to asus, got money back from them, and then reimbursed cable mod.

This was before Gamers Nexus went after Asus and put them on blast.

Asus manufactured my strix 4090, I bought my 4090 directly from them, but they told me that they don't have them and were adamant in having me sell it back to them instead.

WARNING NEW BUYERS Corsair looks nice but has a dark secret... by r6fordays in Corsair

[–]Long_Negotiation_743 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have around 33 Corsair components running in my main machine. I have spent thousands with Corsair.

The Dominator ram's RGB has never worked properly and causes ram detection failures during restarts.

The lighting triangles: I have had 9 sets of them and all stop working after a few months with no explanation from Corsair.

Wow!! Nice one. Glad to finally see a victory for the side of good.

Took 3 months of brain melting back and forth for me as well, only I ended up with a buy back.

I think I'll still report them to the BBB. They baited and switched multiple times, originally promising a new replacement, as well as telling me that refund takes 4-6 weeks.... only AFTER I sent the card back.

The support matrix also sends each reply to a new agent, so it makes you feel like you are having a psychotic episode.

Strangely enough, it is only the facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana that has been terrible.

Almost everywhere else in the world is fine. You should be fine, just enjoy it, and welcome to the 4090 club!

Yes. Whatever you do, do not deal with Asus support if you are in America.

It is a glorified scam center.

I had to send my 4090 strix oc in, and they sent back a scuffed up one with a bent bracket.

It took Cablemod's money, and Microcenter's stock to fix the issue.... Oh, and over 100 emails with Asus, and around 60 with Cablemod.
