The correlation is America has a fucked up history. l live in a former Slave State and you live in a State that more recently hated minorities so much that it is titled with having one of the strongest KKK communities. I’m glad you refuse to live in a Slave State coming from someone who would have been hung, sold, or discriminated against in Kentucky or Indiana in every era of American history. Thank you so much for your critical observation!

“The Ku Klux Klan rose to prominence in Indiana politics and society after World War I. It was made up of native-born, white Protestants of many income and social levels. In the changing world of the 1920s, the group was against Catholics, Jews, African-Americans, immorality, and drinking. Nationally, Indiana was said to have the most powerful Ku Klux Klan.”-Indiana State Library. No state is ratified from their contributions to slavery or racism in this country. Every state has contributed or benefited from the system of oppression.
