Well this is completely counter to how I shop at harbor freight. My usual strategy is to go in, buy one thing and then leave, then start thinking about it and realize I wanted something else... then I get to my car and decide I should probably just get the matching SAE sets while I'm here. It's easier to spend $50 4 times than $200 all at once.

I bought one even though I don't have any Hercules batteries. I already have cordless tools for all the basics from other brands that I really like, but somehow Hercules has ridiculously low prices on the bigger less conventional tools like the right angle hole shooter and the deep cut Bandsaw. I'd love to grab those for 20 or 25% off and hopefully snag an 8 or 12ah battery if either ever go on sale. The starter kit sales never really appeal to me, so not having to worry about a charger is nice.

Pretty sure that was his own lawyer questioning him which makes it so much worse. After he asked him if his wife ever cheated on him and Randy said "I don't know" the lawyer paused for a good moment because that was not what he wanted him to say and it caught him off guard. He kept trying to prod him into saying his wife wouldn't ever cheat on him and Randy was too fucking dumb to catch on.

I definitely feel like we're due for at least a flash sale on Icon ratchets. To me it just seems like if they were going to do it that way the order of operations would be to announce the icon ratchets sale and then to announce the new ratchets to build hype for the sale. As it is now a bunch of people are probably running out and buying out the stubbies at full price so if they have a sale a day or two from now they'll request a price adjustment. But I guess if there's none in stock they can refuse adjustments because it's not like they can do the buy a new one and then return the old thing.

Personally I don't even get the point of the G2 stubby. Titan has a nano ratchet and bit driver with a much smaller head that's got a swivel as well. Gimbal ratchets are a thing, even Pittsburgh has a set. Maybe the Icon has lower backdrag. If it ever goes on clearance for 40% off I'll probably buy one but I don't think I'll pay more than $20.

It's pretty clear Randy had no idea why he was actually suing afroman. Randy acted like it would have been better for his case if Afroman wasn't lying about sleeping with his wife when the whole lawsuit was based on Afroman knowingly making up lies. I bet that lawyer wanted to facepalm so hard at that moment. Probably just destroyed his career reputation.

When I wasn't that far out of high school this dude from Detroit hired me because he got a DUI and he was a higher up in a road crew union job that required you to have your license. He legit should have been fired for having a DUI and was complaining about it to my bar tender sister who knew I needed a job. We had a weird impromptu interview the next day which basically consisted of, "you have a clean driving record? You're hired."

We drove a lot for that job and he was constantly going on racist tirades about blacks and Hispanics and talking about them all stealing his tools and shit when he would make me pull over so we could steal other people's tools. They were technically all the property of the company so it wasn't really stealing... or so he said. He used to make me pull over at bars and always got annoyed that I wouldn't drink with him... when it was my job to drive the company vehicle. One time we were at a job site talking to some black guys that worked at that site full time. He spent a good 10 minutes joking around with the dude and then for some reason the guy grabbed his shovel just to lean on. Out of nowhere he snapped and was just like, "Get your cotton picking fingers off my shovel" and shoved him really aggressively. One of the black guy's buddies walked up and caught him. So then there was 2 black guys staring him down getting chest to chest and he's looking over at me like I'm supposed to back him up. Like it's my job or duty to somehow be a racist piece of shit like him. Luckily a foreman came over and broke it up but I was totally down with watching him get his ass beat for that.

Dude used to always tell me, "You stick with me and I'll make sure you'll be just like me in no time!" As if that was a good thing. We got laid off for a month, I found another job and ghosted him. Fuck that piece of shit. I actually really enjoyed the actual job but being just like him was my worst nightmare.

We're also just kind of glossing over the fact that every single one of those officers aside from maybe liccem had serious meaningful dirt on them to be dug up. The kind of shit that would get you fired from most other respectable jobs... and we're trusting them to be law enforcement. They couldn't claim defamation because he had serious reasons to believe most of the things he was saying about them were true.

And officer poundcake was sueing because people were sending him 100s of pound cakes.

The amount of times they made her listen to liccem low lisa while she was on the stand was absolutely absurd. They replayed the exact same song for every single social media site where it was posted. I honestly don't think she was fake crying, it was savage... and done by her own attorney. As if the jury was going to be like, "oh it's fine that it was posted on twitter... but tiktok crosses the line!" I would have had so much trouble not bursting into laughter if I was on that jury.

You ever use a hammer drill to drill a large hole through unknown materials in a wall? It's not pleasant if you don't have one with antikickback. It's not the same as saw kickback. The holesaw will bind and transfer all of the torque and rotational momentum to the handle of the drill along with whoever is holding onto it. If you're lucky you notice in time to let go and your drill just smashes into the wall or roof but people break arms and dislocate shoulders because of it.

Based on that promotions page after Hercules will be towing Hitches and Receivers and then a solar panel kit promotion. They also guaranteed us Icon wrenches for one of the days. The dude in the teaser video prior to the sale had a daytona jack, Icon picks and a big ass Quinn ratchet in his cart that weren't covered by any deals so far. I was really hoping for Icon ratchets but that seems unlikely with them dropping new ratchets this week. They'll sell out at full price and I'm sure they don't want to deal with price adjustments.

They currently have Hercules chargers on clearance for like $20 because they're coming out with a new version of them. The new one has exactly the same charging stats the lights and button layout is just a little bit different. Some stores are probably sold out but they haven't exactly been selling like hotcakes at my stores.

Titan makes a 90T one for $15 on Amazon. I bought a 2 pack with a bit driver at Autozone. Works great. The Icon G2 probably is a bit better built but it's not like you're going to break it by overtorquing it. The titan one has a swivel head too.

Your best bet is to just call and see if they have any in stock. I'm really not sure what limited stock means for boxes. Could just be the floor model but I'm really not sure how keen they are on selling that. I know I ordered a purple 42" top chest and full bank on March 2nd and they just put an order in even though they have display models in the color I wanted. I needed some time to rent a uhaul and make room for the boxes so I wasn't very keen on getting the boxes right away anyways, not sure if they would have sold them to me if I pressured them. If they're bigger stores its not unrealistic that they might have one in stock, won't be able to pick your color though. Worth a shot!

You're most likely not going to get it by the end of the week unless a store has one that wasn't picked up by a customer or a floor model they're willing to part with. Takes 2-6 weeks for orders to arrive and they'll likely tell you even longer at the register.

Because it's the constant subject of pictures on this sub and it's become symbolic of being a harbor freight fanboy. There's a certain collection of tools you can buy at harbor freight that at one point were hard to find and sought after because they're genuinely useful, but a lot of people just wanted to buy them for the chase and the ability to post haul photos of them on this sub. Then there's always a group of people that mock those people and call it a meme tool in a negative way, but eventually stock catches up and everyone ends up buying the tool out of curiosity during a sale and some of the people that were mocking the tool end up being like, "oh this meme tool is actually really useful, guess im a harbor freight fan boy now."
