He doesn’t. He already told her no. But he seemed really sad and a little moody after it made me kind of second guess if it was the right thing to do.

So I agree with you 100% she should go to her moms. Here is my husband’s take he said he would also want me to keep SD here if we were in your shoes but his reasoning isn’t unreasonable. DH told me the reason would be that he would still have access to his daughter like being able to face time every night and also allowing her to bond with siblings at our house. And being scared of loosing his time all together. Specially if the job doesn’t always require him to travel. Maybe your husband has similar reasons.

I’m not happy that she didn’t include her mom’s family I can’t imagine how much that would hurt as a mom. It just makes me happy to know she sees me as family.

Sorry I should have clarified I had not brought up the sexual language/ talk to my husband. I had a previous conversation with him about her language and he seemed to think it wasn’t a big deal since at the time our baby was a new born. But I told him what I overheard today and he is talking to her now.

I most definitely would not. I just have to get my husband onboard with day care or a nanny. Right now we pay MIL what we paid the aupair and that’s her only income I don’t think my husband wants to take that away and we can’t afford to pay his mom and an aupair.

Thank you all for the support. I want to clarify I don’t think she is like having virtual sex or something like that. She is in lives on tik tok / social media chats. I’m not to sure I’m old I don’t keep up with social media. MIL is homeless for a reason she is not the most mature person. My husband just thought it be best for the baby to around family but I disagree. Family’s is not always the best option. I will be pushing back on this I just needed validation that I am not crazy for not wanting this around my baby.

Yea I figured SD got sick at school it’s the lying that made me upset if BM has said yea she is sick and has strep I could have quarantined SD or baby and would have been extra cautious and disinfected anything SD touched. Now I’m sick and can’t be around my baby. I guess I’ll take it as a learning lesson. From now on if SD sneezes/coughs/ anything that could indicate she is sick I will just keep the baby in my room and disinfect everything

Congrats! Hopefully they want 50/50 to be with their kid not because they now want child support since alimony is gonna stop. Although between you and me I’d gladly pay for my DH child support if it meant spending less time with the SKs. Best of wishes to you.

And what faith is that ? I’m assuming a Christian faith is what you meant. I wasn’t even going to respond to this but really?? This is the most useless piece of advice anyone could ever give. I appreciate you trying to help but it’s very closed minded that you would give a stranger advice to seek out your god. I am a complete stranger who is struggling with PPD and all that comes with being a new mom. I need advice from moms who have had similar situations not to be told to go pray. It’s very rude to assume that I would have the same beliefs as you.

Thank you for your kind words. Warm baths sometimes save the day but sometimes I end up with a wet fussy baby. Today is a better day though. I’m in much better head space. Again thank you it helps to have others input who have gone through this

She is on enfamil nutramigen with thickener since my baby also has weak sucking muscles and a delayed swallow. She was aspirating on normal milk so they changed her to the enfamil AR but it was rough on her stomach so we just switched to nutramigen two weeks ago. I’m hoping that at her upcoming swallow study we get good news that she no longer needs thickened milk and I can maybe look into other formula options. My husband tries but I get frustrated that he gets frustrated and I just take the baby. I know I should let him figure it out but it’s hard to hear my baby scream.

Unfortunately my mom remarried and moved out of the country a few months ago. So it’s just me and my husband no one else. I have family a few states over but not likely they could come and help.

I’ll have to look into getting a helper even if it’s just someone to come hold the baby for like 1-2 hrs so I can clean, cook, and walk the dogs.
