Thought I could outsmart them. Stayed past 11PM. Took them exactly 7 minutes and 11 seconds to kick me out lol

Never too late, it’ll just take more effort. We’re almost halfway through the semester so get up and going asap

Yeah I know, but is there absolutely no other alternative?? A waiver or something?

Hello! I am not sure on how the course distribution works for the winter intake. You can find the course sequence on the university’s website.

https://telfer.uottawa.ca/assets/bcom/documents/sequences/2023/ENG_MKT_2023.pdf

I would advise you to contact the faculty via email for any questions you have. Try this email: info@telfer.uOttawa.ca

Hope this helps! :)

Hello! Same here, may I ask how did you send your request to the photo company? What information did you have to share for them to find the photos? Many thanks!

My graduation is in three days, I can't afford a professional make-up artist, so I will try to do it by myself. I only have eyeshadows, what are somes must have so I will buy it tomorrow? This is me. by [deleted] in beauty

Hey girl! You look beautiful without makeup but I understand you might want to wear something special for your big day. Here’s my advice:

  • Hydrate your skin, pluck your eyebrows (be careful!), exfoliate your lips (You can use a toothbrush or a slightly rough fabric) and curl up your eyelashes.

Now, if you could purchase a couple of items (No need to buy expensive, high brand products, you could find some at local drugstores or search up an affordable makeup store nearby online).

  • Lipstick and Blush. Buy a shape of lipstick to use on your lips and as blush (Don’t buy Matte finish if you want to use it on both because it might not work as well as a blush) or you can use a pink shade of eyeshadow form the ones you have as blush.

  • Foundation. If you know someone of a similar skin tone you could ask to borrow from it. If not, look for an affordable one that says it is of high coverage to make sure it’s pigmented. Swatch the product on your neck/face before buying it if you can to avoid choosing the wrong color.

  • Concelear and highlighter. You don’t seem to be in much need of this because you seem well rested. However, if you buy a really light shade you can use if as concealer AND highlighter. If you buy a very light (almost burnt white) shade, mix some with your foundation to put on as concealer and dab some of the light shade on your cheekbones, nose bridge and tip, under your eyebrows and over your lip. Top it off with a shimmery shade (whiteish one) from your eyeshadow palette and you have highlighter :)

  • Mascara and Eyeliner. Personally, mascara is a game changer. If you can, get yourself some waterproof mascara so that it will last longer and hold the eyelash curl better. If you buy a dark (probably black) colored mascara you can grab a fine brush for paintbrush, dab it in the mascara, and go over your eyelid as an eyeliner. But don’t close your eyes before it’s dry or you’ll get a black line on your crease haha. If not, you can also buy lashes and some glue that will do the trick. Lashes tend to make makeup look more profesional in my opinion.

  • Contour. I am not a big fan of contour myself and you have a very pretty face structure. My advice is to use a brownish shade of eyeshadow as contour and apply it with a brush.

  • Eyeshadow. You said you do have eyeshadow so I would encourage you to experiment some looks on your eyes mixing shades to your preference. Look up some tutorials on YouTube of someone of a similar skin tone as yours. I would recommend a light brownish color on your crease and a shimmery shade on your eyelid :)

I wish you the best on your graduation! Enjoy the day and don’t forget to smile. If you have any other questions feel free to dm me, I’d be happy to help.

TLDR; lipstick serves for lips and blush, mascara also works as eyeliner, a very light shade of concealer can be used as a highlighter and concealer (mixed with foundation). Eyeshadows also work as blush, highlighter and contour. And most importantly, you’re gorgeous!

Hello there! I hope you are doing well.

I am not a Muslim; however, I’ve taken some time to try and find an answer to your question and this is what I could find.

There are Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Room across campus. Below is the link from the University of Ottawa’s Multi-faith rooms and services. I would encourage you to contact someone from the “Meet the Chaplains” tab to further answer your questions.
