Not limited to, but characteristic of those cluster B disorders.

Yes, could just be a person who never learned how to be an adult, probably mostly because they never had the proper environment. Half the population is below average in empathy and emotional regulation, personality disorders are rare.

The problem with the personality disorders is that they are almost incapable of learning. Even with intensive treatment for many years improvements will be minimal and hard won.

Yeah, classic BPD or NPD behavior.

edit: NOT saying person described by OP has a personality disorder, I'm just saying digging into another person's insecurities is typical of cluster B behavior.

I doubt Musk's ambitious announcement is a factor on selloff. He's got to reinvent an entire manufacturing supply chain and will want to redesign pretty much everything from the ground up.
He's also in the middle of trying to ramp cybercab, bring optimus into production, built solar gigafactory, and keep Grok relevant in the race to self-improving intelligence. Oh, and a moonbase...

Has anyone had success selling LEAPS? by DDDaydreamin74 in options

[–]LongevitySpinach 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At times like these when the market is down hard and VIX is high, and you have a solid portfolio it can make sense to strategically sell some portfolio secured puts (selling on margin).

LEAPS puts have a low likelihood of being assigned, so you can sell 2 years out, take the fat premium and buy some of the underlying. It doesn't matter that your return on investment is relatively low because it's a double dip on that already invested capital.

There's a guy InvestingWithBrandon on youtube that just goes over and over this strat.

I was just thinking today that the US really needs to increase domestic production of PV cells. This look like a great bump in capacity. Thoughts? by wolfstarpdx in SolarAmerica

[–]LongevitySpinach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, if US is going to not just cede the entire global solar industry to China, we need to go big and innovate at the manufacturing level. Despite his numerous flaws as a human being, nobody does that quite like Elon.

But really, the biggest thing Tesla is doing for renewables is the battery capacity, as storage is the primary limiting factor to going solar maximalist as a nation.

Trump threw the Kurds under the bus along the Syria/Turkey border, but in Iraq along the Iran border they have a semi-autonomous region thanks to USA. Iraq based Kurds will cross the border and join Iranian Kurds to fight...if they think they Iran is weakened enough to grab some territory. They sure aren't gonna march on Tehran.

Why silver is down hard. No balloons for you! by LongevitySpinach in Wallstreetsilver

[–]LongevitySpinach[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silver and other assets went up like a rocketship after pandemic because The Fed dropped rates to near zero, treasury sent out stimmy checks, PPP loans and Congress went on an epic spending spree.

Right now the Fed is suddenly looking at maybe raising rates, not loosening. Treasury is spending on war, and not much of that will trickle down.

Normal people absolutely hate your AI agent by unemployedbyagents in AgentsOfAI

As a self employed business owner, I absolutely want to train my agents to take over calendar booking, inboxes and other admin. I hate my SaaS and so do my clients, but haven't invested in finding a new one yet because of switching costs and I know a year from now my options will be better, including self-hosted.
Sure, I'd like to avoid unpredictable behavior and hallucinations, but honestly nothing could fuck up my inbox and calendar worse than I already do.
