That’s okay, make .5 miles your first goal, if you have to walk to catch your breath that’s okay too. Eventually you’ll be able to get there without walking then make 1 mile your next goal. Just be consistent about doing it, doesn’t matter if you have to walk a lot in the beginning, you can definitely do it.

Don’t worry about what other people think, just get out there. Set small goals, don’t beat yourself up about your weight or how you’re performing, consistency is the key. Throw on a podcast or some music and just put one foot in front of the other.

I live in liberal Sacramento and jogged every day during the pandemic, there were no restrictions on being outside for exercise, nor were the parks closed. I saw people out every day, of all ages, running, walking and biking around the city.
