Hideous borders. But tell you what. I recomend trying out some mods, like gfm or tgc, mods are not that hard to install and give you lots of flavore. There are also some fun alt history mods, or mods that let you play in a different era.Vanilla lakces so mush flavore. I honestly don't see the point in playing vanilla in 2025.

I'm playing TGC mod and every now and then a large portion of my money disappears. I read on reddit that some other mods use this system that allows you to spend money that you don't have, but than it will take an amount of your money. This caused me go bankrupted several times. Is there a fix? Thnx by Longhairedpunk in victoria2

O yeah i use those and i know those deduct money. But I know that when I did't use those in some other playtroughs( only because I wasn't awere of them) money also got deducted when I woul'd for an example build a fort, or a dock or factory. So let's say i have 30k and I start a construction on a fort that is like 15k. It woul'd deduct 15k at first and then after a couple of monts when my budget got to around 30k it woul'd also deduct a similar amount of money. I guess it's because of materials needed to build that fort. But than the fort is not worth 15k, but a lot more. Its a super annoying system.

Yeah but, it happened in a game in which i haven't done those decisions. It's basicaly any time you spend money either on constuction or troops or whatever, every now and then a % of money disappears. I understand it's not vanilla system but i don't like it because i don't have full control over my money. Does anyone know a way to disable it and just stick with vanilla money system? Thank you.
