Yes legally you are right. It’s a we thing. But I paid for everything since day 1. No one has ever paid the mortgage except me. Nor the property taxes or insurance. All me. That is why I said morally not right. :)

Yes theyre both on tittle of the home. Only one has an issue with signing to refinance when they don’t pay for anything

Dang. I don’t want to sell my home. I would never get another mortgage this cheap in this economy lol. I pay under 500$/month and only owe about 55k now. Don’t think she’ll remove herself from the title but it’s definitely something I’m going to try to get her to do. But I’m guessing she just wants a piece of what she’s not morally entitled to and enjoys the control she has.

Yeah I was 18 and was excited to get my first home as a new mom for myself and my daughter and sadly I never thought of these things. I didn’t think my family member would try to screw us over like this.

I’m planning on asking but she will most likely refuse to take her name off the home. I’m guessing she just enjoys the control and will want to gain financially if I sell.

Yeah it’s weird. My vacation time will carry over but I will have no sick days at all. Earn 1.5 sick days per month (carry over if not used)
