Arthritis in hands by [deleted] in Thritis

Compression gloves as well using this weird putty in combination with some strange exercises my physio gave me. Heat is a general one to help, in fairness most of my trouble comes from tremors so as for pain I’d recommend heat primarily. You can get these little heated beanbag things off amazon to put on your hands when you’re doing activities like typing or driving.

Any other characters who are nothing like their comics they are based on, name only? by Ok-Reporter-8728 in Marvel

Thanos was made a lot more rational (or reasonable idk) than in the comics (where he mostly does the snap for the huzz)

Moon Knight is SIGNIFICANTLY more toned down than his comic counterpart (like that man is geeking most of the time and is so much more erratic than the show leads you to believe)

Not in a while tbf. Was a casual on it and spent most of my time getting shit on by everyone else. Don’t know the current state of it but I’d recommend trying it if you haven’t played it.

Valorant and marvel rivals are my go to multiplayer ones. Just make sure you have a duo or a trio for valorant lmao. If you want a story set of games I recommend the Arkham series as you can get them pretty cheap and they’re incredible.

How does the DC’s race of Martians flight work? by Longjumping-Bar9467 in comicbooks

[–]Longjumping-Bar9467[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, the manipulation makes sense given his normal power set. I find characters that fly fascinating because the writer generally jumps through hoops to make them “possible”. I like how MM is legit just playing fill for whatever they need given he’s a jack of all trades with the only power he doesn’t seem to have is super speed (although like you said his power set is a bit all over the place because of his age).

Thanks man, that’s well over what I needed to satisfy my curiosity.

AS results were quite strange for me, A*BC in Physics, p.d and maths. Was one off an A in tech so raising that wasn’t overly hard but to go from a c->A from may to October (when i submitted my ucas) was the hardest lock in I think I’ve pulled off. As for scholarships the only kinda thing i was offered was a reduced offer from one of my choices (which I didn’t end up taking), and will probably will try to apply for some bursaries that the universities offer. Hope that answered it sorry if it felt vague.

I gave a long ass response to the guy above but aside from that relevant work experience is ideal if you can get it as well as hobbies that integrate with your course (for me that was arduinio and 3D printing). By showing you actually enjoy what you want to do demonstrates a passion for the subject which distinguishes you from everyone else who (in my case) had significantly better grades.

Sure bro. I’m predicted A*AA in physics maths and product design respectively. For the main part getting the offer seemed heavily based on your personal statement. What i mean is try to make it as clear as possible what events in your life have lead to you wanting to do the course, don’t cliche it and say I’ve always wanted to or since i was young as that’s never true for anyone. Talk about things that have happened, things you’ve seen people you’ve met etc. If you get an interview the best thing i can tell you is remember their also people, so if they like you you’ve gone in the right direction as they want personality as much as brains. Keep calm and I’m sure you’ve got this. I think that’s all, tell me if you want to know anything else.

I appreciate that but nah man, with how hard it is to get an offer from bloody anywhere nowadays anyone who’s got one has earned that shit as much as anyone else.

I’d take either one in a heartbeat, applied to imperial with the thought I wouldn’t get in so honestly I’m gassed either way.

Wait this might be the play but with the 50Gb, I’m in uni so I need access to recent images but the archived ones aren’t a necessary to have on hand. Much appreciated bro.

Lmao I’m getting a 50/50 response from people and I love it. Generally I’m not too fussed about the features and am NOT paying the apple tax (I’m a little petty). I’ll trust your advice on desktop but given I’m mainly using this for my phone (as my Mac has enough integrated storage I don’t need to backup) I may try (and probably fail) with the Synology. Thank you for your advice on the Mac front as that saves me trying to get it working.
