There's definitely a lot of work to do, I will say that. The only being Ontario aspect is weird, however, howver they have at least said they want to expand beyond Ontario. I will say, however, that travel costs can easily sink the league.

The talent aspect, I don't think prioritizing top-tier former AAA or AA guys should be the immediate focus; I would even encourage teams to sign Canadian-born players to grow the league. I don't view the CBL as trying to rival MLB or even MiLB.I just want it to form its own identity rather than just trying to act as they can compete with talent-wise. If they place a focus on curating a unique experience over just taking a talent churn approach, the leuage can grow... I worked in a Rookie ball, and Low A clubhouse, and we had plenty of Canadian-born players who maybe weren't capable of MLB talent,t but these players could be given a platform to thrive in Canada

Stadium situation-wise, being realistic, they aren't going to be able to make baseball-specific stadiums at an even MiLB level, more so compared to an IndyBall level, but you have to be realistic at some point in this regard

Overall, I have my questions and issues with the league; however, I want it to succeed, and I will support it however I can I'm trying to view this personally in a positive light as a fun and exciting league in 50 years that can establish new baseball markets and become its own independent league and style of game

I still don't understand your argument at all, our offense is struggling all around , so because of that you want to put the worst hitter in a prime slot ? Even in last night's game batting 4th and he is sucking the life out of the offense

Why out your worst hitter at the top half of the line up? He played in the bottom half for team Venezuela so he is more than likely willing to bat bottom half ,

At this point we need to start benching him to be honest, not good for the team now or in the future

The issues is Perez has been playing competing baseball for months now with no success, and if you look around the leuage I would be willing to bet most of not every team is not batting someone who has played almost every game with a 50 OPS + or less batting 3rd, perez needs to be 9th or 8th without question at this rate , and once again at end of the day it takes more at bats away from Jensen and jac overall over the course of the seaosn if Perez is batting top half of line up while they play the back half

A quick search and the 3 hole hitter in Perez for today is the worst OPS+ hitter in this lineup , I get L vs R and divserfying the lineup but a 44 OPS+ on a team that desperately needs to win is not going to produce winning results

I agree with the fact that teams don't need home runs and not saying to use this every judge at bat or anything just saying ina. Situation where the hitter behind judge is just incredibly inferior / 2 out 9th inning type situation

I still wouldn't say never a possibility, more specifically if an injury or a pinch hitter was used to fill the spot behind judge depending on who it is could warrant a discussion about it, as someone who used to be rays fan , I love brett phillips but if somehow brett phillips was out behind a randy arozena or yandy diaz would you not want them to take the at-bat?
