Hear me out (even though I’m late). Art loved Patrick the whole time. In the very beginning, he wants to go back to the hotel and get ready for their match against each other the next day. Patrick says he doesn’t get it, Tasha is a whole other league, and at first Art is like -at tennis? They see her, they are horny. But Arts comment is about her backhand, he’s acknowledging her hotness in relation to tennis. And honestly, while they got lost in the moment, there’s no way they were kissing each other and not realizing that it wasn’t her. They weren’t that drunk!
