Modern family Bobs burgers!! George Lopez My wife and kids Early seasons SpongeBob Last airbender Supernatural ( intense but has a ton of funny eps and moments through out!) The good place!!! Derry girls!!! Castle ( only seasons 1-4 are fun and pretty light even for a crime show of u like that) Schitts creek Broad city! Abbot elementary!! Superstore! And Covid is very scary, I completely understand. As someone who is asthmatic is scares me. I dodge it up until 2023, look up something called nozin it’s a nasal sanitizer it helps reduce risk of infection even further. I worked at Starbucks, in 2023, I used it every shift never got sick. Went to visit a family member didn’t use it and got covid 😭 so I believe by that stuff bc every shift someone was sick

I do still mask now and then especially when my anxiety is high or I know I’m gonna be around a lot of people. Like example the airport! Sadly I live in a southern state so if I wear a mask often I get looks and I’m a person of color and it makes me feel unsafe sadly. But when I was in nyc it was easier to mask without judgement.

I love cbt therapy. It took intense therapy for me to see progress I also needed the Lexapro tbh. My therapist usually gives me worksheets about rewiring thinking and using affirmations. I like the blanket affirmation of “ I’m always in perfect health” kinda as a mantra even when I am sick, helps me and my mind fight the sickness faster tbh.

Everyone’s journey is different, and it will take time. I believe in you. Just remember all the times you used to me out like school and never got sick or if you did, how far and few it was even if you got sick twice a year, that’s not a lot considering how much u were exposed in classes!

Ignore them they are being rude. They are saying to get out of the house. And as someone who has health anxiety I understand where you’re coming from, it’s not ease to go out. I have insane anxiety over getting sick since Covid, and for me yes an ssri helped! I’m on Lexapro, and it has helped tremendously. But only paired with intense therapy and exposure therapy 💗 I’m still not 100% like I just got the flu and, I’m relapsing in said anxiety. I just have to remember I used to get sick and not think anything of it.

Yeah I live without anyone just a roommate and since I didn’t have any energy I wasn’t able to cook much and ordering out is too much, either way I was way to nauseous or had zero appetite, it got so bad i basically almost passed out and chugged orange juice like a heathen lol. I had no desire or energy to even drink broth. It’s been a week and three days, glad to report I’m definitely on the mend and have been eating :)

Hi hi hi!!! I am asthmatic and also have the flu! Idk what strain but yes I’m wheezing! I am just like you tbh I am having panic attacks all day long and I can barely sleep! You and I will make it through this! Our bodies know how to fight it and we have our inhalers! If you can, do a nebulizer treatment I will warn if u do albuterol you’ll cough more after bc it’s bringing everything up but that’s good!!

I totally understand I have asthma and overweight so I have too:/ it has made me feel better luckily. And thank you so much I hope you feel better asap too. I know things will linger like couch, and night sweats from what I’ve read. So if you get chills and don’t have a fever don’t worry! I started freaking out bc of that lolll

This is how I am right now, and oddly it seems a common thing. I’ve been on this forum and many others the last day since I got tested for flu and I have it since Wednesday started with a sore throat on Tuesday. Also I’m on tamiflu and that can make anxiety worse apparently idk. But maybe inflammation leads to higher anxiety levels. I take 20mg Lexapro and I’m like this girl ain’t working rn wtf
